Highest Scoring FPL Players 2025/26 So Far (Gameweeks 1–3)

As we hit the first international break of the season, it’s a good time to step back and see who’s made the biggest impact so far. This Highest Scoring FPL Players 2025/26 So Far (Gameweeks 1–3) article highlights the standout performers from the opening rounds, the players who’ve delivered consistent returns, and a few surprise names already climbing the points charts.

These early trends can give Fantasy Premier League managers a valuable insight into who might be worth targeting as we move deeper into the season.

Goalkeepers

Guglielmo Vicario has picked up more points than any other goalkeeper so far (21 points). The Tottenham number one bagged back-to-back nine pointers in Gameweek 1 and 2 due to clean sheets, saves and bonus. Those returns came against Burnley and Manchester City.

It’s no surpirse that David Raya makes the cut. Most of the Spaniard’ points come from his Gameweek 1 clean sheet against Manchester United and Gameweek 2 clean sheet against Leeds. Both, along with his two points against Liverpool in the previous round has helped the Arsenal shot-stopper to 18 points.

Newcastle’ Nick Pope and Everton’ Jordan Pickford have both matched David Raya in their first three games. 15 of Pickford’ points were produced against Brighton in Gameweek 2 due to his penalty save, clean sheet and save points. Meanwhile, clean sheets against Leeds and Aston Villa contributed significantly towards Pope’ total.

Defenders

No defender has produced more points than Riccardo Calafiori. The Italian bagged a huge 28 points due to an incredible two clean sheets, two assists and one goal scored. His goal came in his sides Gameweek 1 clash against Manchester United, whilst his assists came in the Gooners 5-0 win over Leeds.

Chelsea are another side who have started the season well defensively. Although having lost key players at the back due to injury, the Blues managed clean sheets in Gameweek 1 and 3. Benefitting from that was centre-back Trevoh Chalobah who also scored and assisted during that time.

Completing the top three and just one point shy of Chalobah was Arsenal Jurrien Timber with 26 points. Although failing to feature at all in Gameweek 1, Timber bagged a mammoth 24 points in Gameweek 2 against Leeds. Whilst some of that haul came from his clean sheet, most were due to two goals and one assist.

Midfielders

With 25 points in his first three fixtures, Enzo Fernandez heads into the break as the highest scoring midfielder in the game so far. The Argentine benefitted from Cole Palmer’ absence in Gameweek 3 – taking and converting a penalty against Fulham. But, he also produced a goal from open play and two assists.

Not far behind Fernandez with 23 points is Bournemouth talisman Antoine Semenyo. The Ghanian netted twice against Liverpool in Gameweek 1 – contributing to 15 of his points. He also bagged an assist against Wolves in gameweek 2.

Also ranking in the top three, and making an arguably surprising start to his Everton career is Jack Grealish. Grealish played just 19 minutes in the opening round, but made up for it by registering two assists in each of his clashes against Brighton and Wolves.

Forwards

A kind starting schedule and great early form has made Chelsea assets extremely reliable for FPL managers. With that in mind, nobody should be shocked to see Joao Pedro as the highest scoring forward in the game. The Brazilian’ 26 points were helped by his goal and two assists against West Ham and his goal against Fulham.

Manchester main man Erling Haaland continues his trend of starting Premier League campaigns well. Whilst the Norwegian failed to make an impact against Tottenham in Gameweek 2, his opening round brace and goal versus Brighton were enough to secure him in second place.

New signings seem to be making a real impact for their sides early on, and Liverpool’ Hugo Ekitike is no different. Ekitike bagged a goal and an assist during the thrilling clash with Bournemouth in Gameweek 1, which he then followed up with a goal against Newcastle in the following round.
