Aguero

The warning signs were there, but many opted for Aguero and then captained him. The only saving grace was that he didn’t play, so vice captains activated.

There was so much hype before the deadline for Richarlison, with many taking hits to get him in. It was disappointing to see him blank.

Salah

After his goal in Gameweek 9, Salah was a popular choice to bring in for Liverpool coverage. A clear captain choice too. The penalty miss was eventually redeemed by an assist.
