An overview of the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek so far from the current round of top-flight action.

GAMEWEEK 35

There were six Premier League matches on Saturday, with a further three more taking place on Sunday. It will see Everton and Spurs host Chelsea and Leicester, before West Ham welcome Arsenal to east London. Then, it’s Man United vs Brentford on Monday night.

SATURDAY

Newcastle 0-1 Liverpool

Keita (Jota)

Bonus: Alisson (3), Keita (2), Dubravka (2)

Top Scorers: Keita (10), Alisson (9), Dubravka (7), Robertson (6), Matip (6), van Dijk (6)

Surprisingly, Jurgen Klopp placed Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold on the bench. Although the former made a one-point appearance, the latter remained unused. For Newcastle, Chris Wood was a substitute and goalkeeper Martin Dubravka pulled off nine saves.

Aston Villa 2-0 Norwich

Watkins (Ings), Ings (Buendia)

Bonus: Watkins (3), Digne (2), Ings (1)

Top Scorers: Watkins (9), Digne (8), Ings (8), Martinez (7), Cash (6), Mings (6)

A surprise appearance from supposedly-injured Lucas Digne. The defeat sees Norwich officially relegated to the Championship. Also, a yellow card for Villa’s Jacob Ramsey.

Southampton 1-2 Crystal Palace

Bonus: Romeu (3), Eze (2), Clyne (1)

Top Scorers: Romeu (10), Eze (9), Zaha (6), Clyne (6)

Initially on the bench, the brief appearances of Wilfried Zaha and Armando Broja had contrasting fortunes. Up front, Jean-Philippe Mateta started but was booked, with Jan Bednarek also carded.

Watford 1-2 Burnley

Tarkowski own goal (Kucka) — Cork (Taylor), Brownhill (Vydra)

Bonus: Brownhill (3), Cork (3), Taylor (1)

Top Scorers: Cork (10), Brownhill (10), Taylor (6)

No Maxwel Cornet for Burnley. To frustrate FPL managers, Wout Weghorst was substituted just before reaching 60 minutes.

Wolves 0-3 Brighton

Bonus: Bissouma (3), Welbeck (3), Cucurella (1)

Top Scorers: Welbeck (11), Bissouma (11), Trossard (8), Sanchez (6), Dunk (6), Veltman (6), Mac Allister (6), Cucurella (6)

Alexis Mac Allister had a good and bad time from the penalty spot. His first one hit the post but, soon after, made amends with a second attempt. Yellow card for Conor Coady.

Leeds 0-4 Man City

Bonus: Dias (3), Jesus (2), Rodri (1)

Meanwhile, the current highest-scoring players of the Gameweek are Ruben Dias (12), Danny Welbeck (11) and Yves Bissouma (11).
