Safe Spine: Manchester City (vs Burnley)

Manchester City have a home game against Burnley, who have conceded the 2nd most big chances in the Premier League this season. Goals look certain, with a clean sheet also promising since Manchester City have kept 5 in total now this season, including in 4 consecutive Premier League games. FWDs: Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling MID: Bernardo Silva DEF: Benjamin Mendy Aguero has been rested over the International break and will hopefully see an increase in minutes now: making him the ideal captain candidate. He has 2 goals and 2 assists across the last 4 games, taking 18 shots in that time. Raheem Sterling provides an excellent backup to Aguero: he even managed a brace for England earlier this week. He also has 2 goals and 2 assists in the last 4 Premier League games, with 10 shots on goal. In the midfield, Bernardo Silva provides plenty, and also benefits from the Starting 11 points scoring system for passing accuracy and tackles completed. Meanwhile, in defence, Mendy will be looking for attacking returns and a clean sheet: looking to regain his form from the opening weeks of the season where he amassed 5 assists in 4 games.

Goals Galore: Bournemouth vs Southampton

The South coast derby looks set for goals this weekend: these sides have just two clean sheets apiece, scoring a combined 22 goals and conceding 26. Bournemouth are bang in form and should edge it in the end. FWD: Callum Wilson MIDs: Ryan Fraser, David Brooks, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg Goal scorer Callum Wilson has turned provider of late, leading the way with 7 assists. He found the back of the net himself in their last game, with 3 shots on target and 3 attempted assists in his last 2 games. Ryan Fraser and David Brooks have been key beneficiaries of these assists: Brooks has back to back goals in games. Fraser is a slight injury risk at the moment, but managed a brace from a similar position back in Gameweek 5. Saints have been less prolific in attack, with the usually defensively minded midfielder, Højbjerg among their top scorers. He has now taken 9 shots this season, but it’s his tackles and interceptions which may amass the points in this game.

Clean Sheet Stack: Liverpool (vs Huddersfield)

Huddersfield have scored just 4 goals this season and have yet to find the back of the net on home turf. Meanwhile, the Liverpool back line looks to be one of the most solid in the league, keeping 5 clean sheets. DEFs: Andy Robertson, Trent Alexander-Arnold GKP: Allison Robertson and Alexander-Arnold have the capacity for attacking returns to back up a likely clean sheet in this fixture. With James Milner likely to be out with an injury, it’s Trent who could step up for corners and free kicks in his absence.  This pair have 3 assists already and the underlying statistics show the trend could continue. Allison should be able to amass save points and a clean sheet in this game: he has 18 saves to support his 5 clean sheets and Liverpool’s style playing out from the back is well suited to the Starting 11 scoring system.

Team Reveal

Starting 11 have contests available on Saturday. Here’s the team we will be lining up with on Saturday. Sergio Aguero is given the captains armband, with the most enticing fixture of the weekend.
