Fixture swings are adding to the heavy hitter debate, with Liverpool’s schedule turning for the better after Gameweek 8. Manchester City have one of the trickiest upcoming schedules, according to the FPL Vs fixture charts.

4. Dinnery
Spurs may have the easiest fixture for our Gameweek 8 preview, but they’ve already had some key players ruled out. The picture could get even more challenging, with a Champions League game against Barcelona tonight.

Harry Kane may be top of the purchasing list for Gameweek 8, his home record against newly promoted teams is far from exciting. It’s certainly something worth considering for those looking to jump on board with just this weeks fixture in mind.

Harry Kane looks to be a highly popular option for captaincy in Gameweek 8, increasing his appeal for a transfer in. However, the captain metric over on the FPL Connect blog suggests that we would be wrong to overlook another premium contender.

Gameweek 8 has been prolific in the past for Fantasy Premier League captaincy: particularly back in 2014 and 2015, where Sergio Aguero managed 4+ goals. FPL Hints suggests that Harry Kane could join this elite club.
GW8 over the years has been known for individual goal fests, including Aguero's lunchtime four (with missed pen) in 2014 or fiver against Newcastle in 2015.
