Safe Spine: Manchester City (vs Spurs & Manchester United)
Manchester City are unbeaten in their last 9 Premier League games. They’ve scored 10 goals in their last 4 games, conceding just 1. More clean sheets could be on the horizon in Gameweek 35, with one in the reverse fixtures, as City keep things tight against tough opposition. FWD: Sergio Aguero MID: Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne DEF: Benjamin Mendy GKP: Ederson It’s Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling who are relied upon from an attacking perspective. They have the best points potential from the City forwards, with a combined 6 goals and 2 assists from their last 4 games. Kevin De Bruyne is almost back to his best after finally overcoming injury: he has a 1 goal and 2 assists in his last 2 games! Mendy should have plenty to offer after returning to the side: he has 6 assists from 9 starts this season. Ederson has 16 clean sheets this season, including 6 in his last 8 games. He will keep things tight at the back.Goals Galore: Wolves (vs Brighton & Arsenal)
Wolves will be looking to exploit two sub standard defences on the road, in their enticing pair of home fixtures. Wolves have scoffed 4 goals in their last 4 games, the defences they are up against have conceded a total of 12 goals in their last 4 games. FWD: Raul Jimenez MIDs: Reuben Neves, Diogo Jota Jimenez is having a scintillating season: reaching double digits for goals and assists, with 2 goals and 2 assists from his last 4 starts. Jota hasn’t been far behind in recent weeks: he has returned a goal or assist in 4 of his last 5 home games. Neves is less prolific with just 3 goals and 2 assists this season, but Brighton are renowned for conceding penalties, which he could convert. He also scores well for his defensive actions in the Starting 11 format.Clean Sheet Stack: Watford (vs Huddersfield & Southampton)
Watford have 7 clean sheets this season and have a plum fixture against relegated Huddersfield, who’ve failed to score in 4 of their last 6 games. Southampton may be a tougher task, but the dice can be rolled in the double. DEFs: Adam Masina, Craig Cathcart, Daryl Janmaat With rotation hitting, the above look like the most assured of starts in the Watford back line. Remember that lineups can be altered in Starting 11 after the team sheets are released. Cathcart has 3 goals this season, with the full backs each gaining an assist apiece.Team Reveal
