Gameweek 32 Best Free Hit Team
Using Plan FPL we can use one of its fantastic tools to plan transfers weeks in advance. Not just this, but we can also create team drafts to plan for using a chip. Take a look at the best free hit team for Gameweek 33:
Goalkeepers
Picking a goalkeeper this week could be tough but we have opted for Mark Flekken (£4.6m). The Brentford man faces Sheffield United next up, the worst attacking unit in the league, so has plenty of potential.
Flekken is backed up by West Ham’ Lukasz Fabianski (£4.2m) who enables the rest of the squad and has a reasonable fixture.
Defenders
Arsenal have been excellent defensively this season so backing them in any given game could be a wise decision. With that in mind, their elite attacking threat from set play, centre-back Gabriel (£5.4m) eases his way in.
Chelsea visibly missed their full-back Malo Gusto (£4.3m) in their most recent match against Sheffield United. The Frenchman was rested for their trip away to the newly promoted side and looks set to start against Everton.
Playing out-of-position in attack it could be difficult to exclude Wolves full-back Rayan Ait Nouri (£4.6m). The Algerian has racked up three goals and one assist in his last five league matches. Although picking up a minor injury in his latest match, manager Gary O’Neil confirmed he would be fit for the next fixture.
On the bench and playing for the second best defensive side in the league is Liverpool’ Conor Bradley (£4.3m). Some may even decide to start him against Crystal Palace. Joining him is Brighton centre-back Jan Paul van Hecke (£4.1m), he faces Burnley.
Midfielders
Chelsea play Everton this week and although inconsistent, their star man Cole Palmer (£6.1m) is not. Palmer has collected a mammoth 53 points in his last four matches, unmatched by any other player in the league.
Even with the new manager Crystal Palace have been extremely poor defensively and Liverpool have maintained better underlying attacking data than most teams. With that, it could be worth investing in a Liverpool double-up of Mohamed Salah (£13.4m) and Luis Diaz (£7.6m). Whilst the Egyptian remains their standout attacker, Diaz is their most in-form asset.
Manchester City come up against a Luton side who remain the worst in the league for total big chances conceded. One way to target their defence could be via Phil Foden (£8.3m) who has banked three double-digit hauls in his last five league games.
Completing the midfield this week is Brentford’ Bryan Mbeumo (£6.7m). Mbeumo returned from injury with a bang recently, scoring against Aston Villa. Brentford’ deadly duo are back together for the first time in months and they face Sheffield United next up.
Forwards
Spearheading the Manchester City attack this week is of course Erling Haaland (£14.3m). Haaland has had more big chances than any other player this season and comes up against the side who have conceded the most. It could well be a match made in heaven and many will even consider him for captaincy.
Completing Brentford’ deadly attacking duo is Ivan Toney (£8.1m). Although missing the last match, the Brentford manager confirmed he would be ready for Sheffield United. The Blades may have improved slightly recently but they are still maintaining the worst defence in the league.
First on the bench is Brighton striker Joao Pedro (£5.2m). The Brazilian takes his sides penalties, leads the frontline but more importantly faces a woeful Burnley defence next up.
