Gameweek 3 Community reactions
We take a look at some of the best gameweek 3 community reactions from FPL Twitter as the round plays out. With both positive and negative reactions to some of the key events including FPL assets.
Reactions in the FPL gameweek 3 community can help other FPL managers by highlighting things like player minutes, player form, team form and anything else that could have implications within our fantasy teams.
@Konate_FPL
@Kontate_FPL highlights the fact that Perisic owners will be very happy this week. The £5.4m defender resided in many teams at the beginning of the season but his ownership has dropped to 17% at the time of writing.
Perisic managed an assist, clean sheet and bonus points in the match against Wolves which meant the wing-back finished gameweek 3 with a double digit return. FPL managers could be looking to bring the defender in for gameweek 4.
@FPLFamily
Lee from FPLFamily emphasises the fact that many FPL managers sold Kane after gameweek 1. The £11.4m striker managed to score against Chelsea in gameweek 2 and again this week against Wolves.
Many managers could be disappointed after making the switch to Haaland due to consistent Kane returns this season already. With a match against Nottingham Forest in gameweek 4 some could be tempted to find a route back to him.
@FPLMattDay
Matt picks out two big performances from gameweek 3. One of them being Brentford striker Toney who again came away with another attacking return after his goal against Fulham.
£7.1m forward Ivan Toney already took an early price rise this season after his eight and nine point returns in gameweek 1 and 2. His total has now hit 25 points. With great fixtures ahead the FPL community could have him as a top target going forward.
@FplVelvet
Another huge decision within the community was selecting either £4m Nottingham Forest defender Neco Williams or £4.5m Fulham midfielder Andreas. The latter came out on top as he hit eight points for his assist and bonus points.
Many managers chose to back the Welsh defender who lost his clean sheet points late on in the game. His yellow card rubbed salt into the wounds within the community as the gap extended to seven points between both options.
@FPLReaction
Many have been disappointed with the Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount lately. This lead to Mount exiting many FPL managers teams this week. FPLReaction made the switch to Arsenal man Martinelli this week and it paid off.
The £6.3m midfielder hit back to back returns in gameweek 1 and 2. His ownership is constantly on the rise as he sits at 40% owned at the time of writing. With a game up next against promoted team Fulham now could be the time to bring him in for those without.
