Daily Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 28 Tips

Last modified date

Gameweek 28

Three fixtures from Wednesday are in focus for our Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 28 Daily Player Picks.

Starting 11 Mini Leagues

Whilst these selections are based on the Starting 11 game and scoring system, you may also find them useful and relevant for Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 28.

Starting 11 is a Daily Fantasy Premier League football app, which has grown in popularity amongst the FPL community this season. You can select a team without any budget constraints and battle against others. You can challenge the community by downloading the FREE App on Android or iOS and create a team. Check out their new mini league feature!

Safe Spine: Manchester City (vs West Ham)

Manchester City have 2 consecutive Premier League wins, scoring 11 goals and conceding just 1, with consecutive clean sheets. They face a West Ham side who have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 3 games, scoring 5 goals and conceding 3. FWD: Sergio Aguero MID: David Silva DEF: Kyle Walker GKP: Ederson It’s back-to-back home Premier League hat tricks for Sergio Aguero, who’s in excellent form. He’s the Gameweek 28 captain: keep an eye on the team sheet just in case Pep roulette hits, and update your lineup before the deadline. David Silva has 2 assists in his last 4 games, linking up well with the three attacking forwards to create plenty of chances. In defence, Ederson already has one assist this season in the league and has made 46 saves this season. Walker has a goal and an assist.

Goals Galore: Arsenal vs Bournemouth

This fixture ended 2-1 in Arsenal’s favour earlier in the season, with more goals expected on this occasion in Gameweek 28. Arsenal have 3 wins from 4, scoring 7 goals and conceding 5. Bournemouth have scored 5 and conceded 6 in their last 4. FWD: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Josh King MIDs: Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Ryan Fraser Aubameyang is expected to start after being rested last time around, it’s been a barren spell for the Arsenal striker with just a goal and an assist in his last 4 games. Mkhitaryan marked his return from injury with a goal and an assist, to provide much-needed creativity in midfield. Josh King is thriving for the Cherries in the absence of Callum Wilson: penalties are boosting his attacking return, he has 3 goals in his last 4. Ryan Fraser looks the most likely midfielder to create chances for King: he has 9 assists this season.

Clean Sheet Stack: Liverpool (vs Watford)

With 15 clean sheets this season, it was an easy selection for the Gameweek 28 clean sheet stack. Hopefully Robertson can recover from injury and Alexander-Arnold will reclaim his starting berth on the right. DEFs: Andrew Robertson, Virgil Van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold Robertson now has 7 assists on the season, plus is well favoured for his defensive actions. Van Dijk always poses an aerial threat, with 1 goal and 3 assists. Alexander-Arnold has the same record as Van Dijk, with a share of set piece responsibility.

Team Reveal

Starting 11 have contests available on Tuesday and Wednesday. Here’s the Gameweek 28 daily team we will be lining up with on Wednesday. The in-form Aguero is given the captains armband, with the most enticing fixture of the evening.
