Gameweek 24 Best Free Hit Team

With a new Gameweek upon us we take a look at the free hit chip. Using the Fantasy Football Scout members area we can utilise the season ticker and underlying stats to determine the Gameweek 24 best free hit team.

The free hit chip in FPL allows managers, within the same budget and formational limits, to select a team for one particular Gameweek. Managers can attack any given Gameweek with the free hit whether that be to utilise a good set of fixtures, in-form teams or players or a mixture of it all.

Fixtures

Who has the best fixtures?

Luton, Liverpool, Sheffield United, Fulham and Manchester City all rank in the top five teams with the easiest fixtures.

Who has the worst fixtures?

Everton, Burnley, Manchester United, West Ham and Brighton all rank in the bottom five teams with the easiest fixtures.

Gameweek 24 Best Free Hit Team

Using the Live FPL website we can use one of its fantastic tools to plan transfers weeks in advance. Not just this, but we can also create team drafts to plan for using a chip. Take a look at the best free hit team for Gameweek 24:

Goalkeepers

Luton face one of the worst attacking sides in the league next up at home, a venue they are considerably stronger at. Because of that we could back Thomas Kaminski (£4.5m) between the sticks. Backing him up is Newcastle’ Martin Dubravka (£4.2m) who will only feature in the unlikely event Kaminski does not.

Defenders

Staying with Newcastle, full-back Kieran Trippier (£6.8m) continues to maintain some of the best attacking data in the league so far. He also managed a goal and an assist in his most recent match against Luton.

Another player sustaining some of the best distribution data in the league this season is Trent Alexander-Arnold (£8.5m). Trent comes up against one of the worst teams in the league this week so has both offensive and defensive potential.

Completing the back-three is centre-back Gabriel (£5m). Arsenal have one of the best defences in the league so far and the stats back that up. Gabriel also has good attacking potential and his recent brace is proof of that.

Sitting on the bench is Luton’ Alfie Doughty (£4.5m) who could be an excellent addition after six returns on the bounce and Sheffield United’ Jack Robinson (£4.3m) who is unlikely to feature for us.

Midfielders

Burnley are one of the best teams to target at the moment so it could be wise to double up on the Liverpool attack. Because of that and the fact he has returned in all four of his last matches Diogo Jota (£8m) feels like a must have.

Crystal Palace are conceding an alarming amount of goals recently and that could play into the hands of Chelsea who sit third best for expected goals this season. Their standout attacker is of course Cole Palmer (£5.9m) who has managed more double-digit hauls than most players in the game during the last six matches.

Tottenham have been one of the most reliable teams to invest in offensively this season. They face Brighton who continue to leak goals this week. Leading the frontline is Richarlison (£7.1m) who has netted at least one goal in seven of his last eight league matches.

Arsenal will be hoping to get back to winning ways this week with a match against West Ham. The standout Arsenal attacker is Bukayo Saka (£9m). Prior to the Liverpool match Saka returned in two of his three matches. Saka also takes his sides penalties.

Sitting on the bench is Newcastle youngster Lewis Miley (£4.5m). Not only is he nice and cheap and started all of his sides last three games but he also bagged a return in his last match.

Forwards

Our second Liverpool attacker is none other than Darwin Nunez (£7.5m). Nunez has been maintaining some of the best attacking metrics amongst all forwards in the last six Gameweeks. He also managed to bank a return in all four of his last matches.

Manchester City are in a lethal run of goal scoring form and leading the attack is the relentless Erling Haaland (£14.1m). When fit Haaland was superior in nearly every single attacking metric when compared to all other players in the game. The Norwegian also has a very good fixture against Everton this week.

Dominic Solanke (7.1m) is another forward sustaining very good attacking data. The Bournemouth penalty taker has accumulated a huge 42 points in his last six matches and faces a Fulham side who continue to concede some concerning defensive stats.
