Liverpool are our Gameweek 24 safe spine, with 3 wins in 4. They’ve scored 11 goals and conceded 6 in that run, sitting at the top of the Premier League. Meanwhile, Leicester have won just one of their last 4 games, scoring 5 goals and conceding 7: Wolves thumped 4 past them last time out. Mohammed Salah and Roberto Firmino are the form players taking up the forward slots: Salah has 4 goals and 1 assist from his last 4 games, and Firmino has 5 goals in the same timeframe. Expect Liverpool to find the net multiple times in this game, with these two involved. Virgil Van Dijk and Andrew Robertson both managed attacking returns last time out, despite failing to keep a clean sheet. Van Dijk has 1 assist in 4, with Robertson having 2 assists in 4, plus the pair have kept a clean sheet too. Interestingly, this fixture finished 2-1 to Liverpool earlier in the season, with just one goalkeeping mistake preventing a shut out.Goals Galore: Arsenal vs Cardiff
There could be a goal fest on our hands in Gameweek 24 as Cardiff visit Arsenal: this fixture ended 3-2 to the Gunners earlier in the season. Arsenal have scored 7 goals and conceded 7 in their last 4 games, Cardiff have scored 1 and conceded 6, keeping 2 clean sheets. Arsenal have some injury concerns in their defence. Pierre-Emerick Aubemayeng will be looking to add to his tally of 14 goals for the season: he has an excellent goal scoring record in home games against non top 6 opposition, with Chelsea being his only home blank in recent weeks. With Ozil out of favour and Mkhitaryan struggling for fitness, its Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira who will be required to provide for the front man: They have 5 goals and 5 assists this season between them and the Starting 11 format complements their defensive actions too. Cardiff will be up against it in this game, with Victor Camarasa the likeliest source of returns: he has 3 goals and 2 assists this season, plus he is on penalties and most set pieces. He got a goal in the reverse fixture.Clean Sheet Stack: Manchester City (vs Newcastle)
Manchester City have sured things up at the back ahead of Gameweek 24, with consecutive clean sheets in Premier League games. They will also be bolstered by the return to fitness of their first choice left back. They’ve now conceded just 2 goals in their last 4 games, Newcastle have scored 5 goals in the same period: they’ve struggled at home this season against the big teams. Aymeric Laporte and Benjamin Mendy take the defensive slots. Mendy began the season with 6 assists, before falling out of favour and picking up an injury. Laporte has one goal this season. Ederson takes his place between the sticks, with 10 clean sheets and a rare assist this season. He has made 4o saves so far this season. If you’re interested in playing Premier League Daily Fantasy Football with us and many other community members this season, please download the FREE Starting 11 app today by clicking the banner below.
