Safe Spine: Liverpool (vs Newcastle)

It’s Liverpool who provide the safe spine of our Gameweek 19 Daily picks: they will be high on confidence as they sit top of the Premier League and ready to celebrate their successes in front of a home crowd. Liverpool are unbeaten this season, with 11 clean sheets and just two goals conceded at home this season. Meanwhile, Newcastle are struggling for goals but are likely to keep this game tight. FWD: Mohammed Salah MID: Gini Wijnaldum DEF: Andrew Robertson GKP: Alisson Salah is looking like the same player we saw last season, with 4 goals and 2 assists across his last 4 games. He’s thriving playing up front as the striker, with Mane and Firmino providing plenty behind him.Wijnaldum is due a start after featuring as a substitute last time around: his playing style is favoured by the Starting 11 format, with tackles and pass completion rates important. Alisson and Robertson should provide a clean sheet again this week. Alisson has made 14 saves in his last 4 games. Robertson could provide attacking returns to go alongside a shutout, he has 4 assists this season.

Goals Galore: Spurs vs Bournemouth

These two sides are scoring plenty of goals for the Gameweek 19 daily picks, but have looked shaky at the back. Spurs have 12 goals in their last 4 games, conceding 3 and keeping 2 clean sheets. Bournemouth have scored 4 goals in their last 2 games, conceding 7 and keeping 1 clean sheet. FWD: Harry Kane, Callum Wilson MIDs: Christian Eriksen, Ryan Fraser Kane is having another potent Christmas period, with 4 goals and 3 assists from his last 4 starts. With penalties too, he will be looking to exploit this Bournemouth defence. Eriksen will be linking up with Kane: his return to fitness is a boost to the side, with 2 goals in his last 2 games. For Bournemouth, Wilson and Fraser will be relied upon to provide crucial attacking returns. Fraser now has 4 goals and 8 assists this season, Wilson has 8 goals and 8 assists. After a recent dry spell, affected by injury, the Cherries pair need to bounce back.

Clean Sheet Stack: Man United (vs Huddersfield)

Manchester United look revitalised under Solskjær, and conceded just one penalty last weekend to Cardiff. This week it’s a goal shy Huddersfield side visiting Old Trafford: they have scored just 11 goals this season, with just 2 goals in their last 4 games. Can United get their 3rd clean sheet of the season for our Gameweek 19 daily picks? DEFs: Ashley Young, Luke Shaw, Victor Lindelof Young and Shaw appear to be the favoured full backs for Ole, and could provide attacking returns here to go alongside a clean sheet. Shaw has 1 goal and 2 assists, while Young has 1 goal and 3 assists. Lindelof should score well for pass completion, tackles and clearances here in the Starting 11 unique scoring format.
