Gameweek 17 Team 2019/20
Early transfers were made and a points hit taken for the Gameweek 17 team.
Chelsea assets have been moved out, for in-form targets from Spurs and Manchester United. There’s depth on the bench which causes dilemmas.

Gameweek 16 strarted poorly but improved into Sunday, with my Leicester captain Vardy and Maddison doing the business. Raul Jimenez delivered yet another attacking return, and Martin Kelly’s 8 point auto-sub was gratefully received: the transfer in paid off early. Sadio Mane’s lack of appearance, Nick Pope’s zero point return and Trent Alexander-Arnold not being eligible for Liverpool’s clean sheet points were the lows. I ended up on a small red arrow and remain inside the top 500k.Gameweek 17 Team
I went early with transfers this week as I had the exact funds. I lost patience with the injured Tomori, out of form Mount and rotation prone Gabriel Jesus. In came Matt Targett, Dele Alli and Marcus Rashford for a minus 4. This leaves me with no Chelsea players for their home clash with Bournemouth. I hope that going Alli over Pulisic and Rashford over Abrahm pays off: they both have better form and fixtures. Captaincy is another easy one for me this week, the armband stays with Jamie Vardy. I strongly considered the Triple Captain chip, but Norwich’s defence travels reasonable well and the Canaries tend to show up for big games. Liverpool are likely to have an easy double gameweek in the New Year, so the chip is retained for that. All my defenders had good fixtures, Martin Kelly stays on the bench as the chosen three have more of a goal threat. The team is ranked at 469,449 with 894 points. All chips are still in tact, except the wildcard. Team value lies at £105.0 million, with £0.0 million in the bank.Get even more Fantasy Premier League Tips by visiting the Fantasy Football Community Homepage.
