Gameweek 16 Team 2019/20
With the Premier League taking just over 36 hours break, it’s already time to prepare the Gameweek 16 team.
There’s a headache over the long-term look for the midfield and yet another tricky captain decision between Jamie Vardy and Sadio Mane.

Gameweek 15 was another great one for me: significantly above the average of 49 points and another big green arrow. It was even sweeter due to the fact that Gabriel Jesus delivered one gameweek after signing him in place of Tammy Abraham, James Maddison brought his first returns for the side and faith in Mason Mount was finally rewarded after a barren spell. What could have been for the captaincy? Vardy was wrongly given a yellow card, with a rather modest captain return. Sadio Mane had a fantastic game and squandered two golden chances late on to further his points tally. There were more bookings in defence, despite a clean sheet from Soyuncu and assist from Trent. Lundstram disappointed for a fourth week running and Nick Pope’s return was expected.Gameweek 16 Team
The big headache going forward surrounds Chelsea and Spurs assets. Mason Mount looked better against Aston Villa, but Christian Pulisic arguably looks the better pick. Spurs midfielders are also primed to jump on board, but would likely slot into the same position, with no will to sell Mane, De Bruyne or Maddison right now. Added to the mix, Gabriel Jesus may lose his place again soon and Tammy Abraham could easily punish for abandoning. A move to Pulisic from Mount looks simple, but a double move to Abraham and Alli from Jesus and Mount looks better for next week. Both of these options need funds, so a defensive transfer has been made and the other transfer rolled. Martin Kelly comes in for an unfavored Erik Pieters which saves valuable funds. Next week Abraham and one of Pulisic or Alli will come in: another round of games should firm up that decision. The captaincy was a tough one this week, with Sadio Mane looking like the preferable option on paper. He’s played a lot of minutes recently though and Klopp isn’t afraid of rotating. Therefore, the armband stays with Jamie Vardy who is rotation proof, in fantastic form and chasing down another goal-scoring record. The bench was tough to order but it’s pleasing to see strength here, with rotation inevitable in December. The team is ranked at 424,886 with 836 points. All chips are still in tact, except the wildcard. Team value lies at £104.0 million, with £1.0 million in the bank.Be sure to check out our other content ahead of the Gameweek 16 deadline. —> Last Minute Gameweek 16 Tips Get even more Fantasy Premier League Tips by visiting the Fantasy Football Community Homepage.
