Gameweek 14 was a mixed bag, and eventually resulted in a 20k red arrow. It was great to see the captaincy pay off, with Jamie Vardy delivering in yet another game. A solitary assist from Jimenez and a sensational goal from De Bruyne made up the attack. The switch from Tammy Abraham to Gabriel Jesus didn’t pay off, but with the underlying numbers looking good, there’s hope that Jesus will repay the faith in his next game. Gameweek 14 only brought two clean sheets, and none for my lineup. At least Trent Alexander-Arnold delivered a pair of assists. Pope has tough fixtures now and the benching headache with Tomori wasn’t significant in the end. Cantwell has two goals in two games, but appears to be permanently stuck to the bench!Gameweek 15 Team
I’ve got one free transfer this week and a number of options when it comes to transfers. Erik Pieters may be awarded a rare start for Burnley with Charlie Taylor injured, so he keeps his place for now. Nick Pope has tough fixtures coming up, but it doesn’t seem the right time to be making unnecessary transfers for a new goalkeeper. Stekelenburg could be improved to build a rotation, but that often ends in tears anyway. Mason Mount provides the biggest concern: he’s out of form and a rotation worry. Transferring him out would result in no Chelsea attackers though which seems a big risk considering their fixtures. With no major worries, I’m tempted to save the free transfer and then make a bigger set of moves ahead of the weekend games, involving Pope, Mount, Pieters and potentially even Jesus. The captaincy was an easy one this week, with Jamie Vardy having the easiest fixture on paper. After a tough few seasons with the Triple Captain chip, there was temptation to deploy it in this single game week, but with Liverpool guaranteed a double gameweek later in the season, my patience has held firm on this occasion. The team is ranked at 590,606 with 767 points. All chips are still in tact, except the wildcard. Team value lies at £103.8 million, with £0.6 million in the bank.Be sure to check out our other content ahead of the Gameweek 15 deadline. —> Last Minute Gameweek 15 Tips Get even more Fantasy Premier League Tips by visiting the Fantasy Football Community Homepage.
