Gameweek 10 Recap
Shots in the box
6 – Bowen
4 – Barnes (Harvey), Armstrong (Adam), Wood, Cavani, Jesus
3 – Toney, Raphinha, James (Reece)
With four goals in his last six games Jarrod Bowen continues to show promise, however the tough upcoming fixtures may deter FPL managers from the 1.4% owned midfielder.
Harvey Barnes also makes the list despite playing just 45 minutes against Arsenal.
Expected Goals
1.45 – Jarrod Bowen
0.83 – Jorginho, Barnes (Harvey)
0.82 – Ziyech
Hakim Ziyech made a return to the starting line-up for Chelsea and recorded the third highest xG of the Gameweek. The midfielder could appear on the radar of FPL managers if he can sustain a run in the team.
Meanwhile Jorginho grabbed his first goal of the season with a penalty against Newcastle.
Chances Created
5 – Tielemans, Grealish
4 – King, Gallagher
3 – Bruno Fernandes, James (Reece), Hudson-Odoi, Saka
Despite both Leicester and Manchester City failing to score, midfielders Youri Tielemans and Jack Grealish created the most chances for their teams so far in Gameweek 10, with five a piece.
An away fixture at Manchester City didn’t stop Conor Gallagher creating four chances for Crystal Palace, grabbing a goal and an assist in the process.
Expected Goals Conceded (Teams)
2.64 – Aston Villa
2.53 – Newcastle
2.51 – Brentford
Despite having the worst xGC of the Gameweek so far, Aston Villa will perhaps feel unfortunate to have conceded four goals from 2.64 xGC. Meanwhile, fourth on this list is Arsenal, who kept a clean sheet from an xGC of 1.87, highlighting the performance of Aaron Ramsdale who made some excellent saves in Gameweek 10.
