GAFFR: What chips and boosts are available?

GAFFR Championship Fantasy is now live and with only several weeks to go until the first round of fixtures its time to plan. Here we will take a look at the different types of chips, how many we get to use and other key details we need to know when planning.

Chips and boosts are a vital cog in any successful season for fantasy mangers. Deciding what chips to use and when to use them could be detrimental to our ranks. For that reason is very important we understand everything we can about those chips.

How many boosts are there?

There is a total of 16 chips available in the entire season to choose from. Plenty of options for Gaffr managers to sink their teeth into.

How many boosts can we use?

Although there is a total of 16 chips they wont always be available with three different stages of the season managers can select up to three different chips from a pool of six. This means that different chips will be available at different points of the season.

When can we use the chips?

We can use up to three different chips in game weeks:

  • 1-15
  • 16-30
  • 31-46

This means that players can use a total of nine chips through out the season.

Important note: Any given chip won’t always be available through the season. An example is if you don’t utilise Overhaul in Game weeks 1-15, you may not have that chip available in game weeks 16-30.

What are the chips?

Overhaul

In Overhaul players can make unlimited transfers for the game week, these are permanent changes to your team. They will not revert the following game week.

Underhaul
