@FPLReaction’ team reveal for FPL Gameweek 6

The Premier League season continues so we look to the new round. We bring in Fantasy Football Community and Fantasy Football Scout contributor @FPLReaction to give you his FPL team reveal for Gameweek 6.

As we approach any given deadline, managers will be scrambling for clarity on some of the biggest decisions in the game like transfers and captaincy. Taking a look at @FPLReaction’s team reveal for FPL Gameweek 6 could benefit other managers when making those decisions.

Gameweek 5 review

  • Last week was a very low scoring round overall. The average was just 44 points and as you can see I finished six points below that.
  • I had a rank change of 218k to 502k. I’m very happy to be inside the top 1 million, even this early, because a lot of experienced managers are well outside.
  • Basically my entire team, bar three, failed to pick up anything significant.
  • I hit returns from Haaland and Saka but they have very high ownership so it didn’t makes much of an impact in terms of rank.
  • My biggest bit of luck this week was Botman. He was my transfer in last week and I benched him. Luckily Estupinan did not start the game so Botman came on for nine points.
  • I’m not hugely concerned about this week and it was probably the best week to have a bad Gameweek.

Team Reveal for Gameweek 6

  • This is my current team for Gameweek 6 without the use of any transfers.
  • I have two transfers to use this week and there are several ways I could use them.
  • My original plan was to sell Jackson for Carlton Morris who has a double Gameweek in 7. This move alone would give me £3.8m in the bank.
  • The aim is to have enough money to bring Salah in without having to use the Wildcard around Gameweek 9 so I could potentially work towards that.
  • That move alone would not be enough financially to do that so it could take another transfer which may potentially be Estupinan to Fabian Schar.
  • An alternative plan could be to sell Jackson and just bring in Julian Alvarez. I really like him as an asset moving forward and looks to have become a key player in the Manchester City attack.
  • I also like Kieran Trippier potentially but doing that would lock me into using a wildcard which im not fully against.
  • I have a lot to think about this week in terms of transfers. Captaincy isn’t one of them and is pretty straight forward with Haaland.
