FPL Tips Gameweek 23 | Last Minute
Fantasy Football Tips GW23 from our Fantasy Football Community ahead of the deadline.
With some double gameweeks confirmed for the rest of the month, how should we approach the Fantasy Football tips for Gameweek 23
Injuries
There’s plenty of injury news for the fantasy football tips gameweek 23, including an improved situation at Southampton as they look to bounce back from their big midweek defeat. Key defensive options are beginning to become available and Jan Bednarek’s red card suspension has been rescinded. Will we see an improved performance against Newcastle United as a result?Oriol Romeu trained today and the midfielder could be available. Vestergaard also has an outside chance of making the game. Minamino will also be added to the #SaintsFC squad.

Fixtures
Fixture difficulty comes into view for the next six weeks, with doubles appearing in the ticker. Ted Talks FPL has updated the schedule, with Burnley looking particularly promising over the next few weeks. Keep an eye on assets from Leeds United too, with a kind double in Gameweek 25.Updated with confirmed doubles https://t.co/epocBq9iWb pic.twitter.com/SkHbhGlnhB

Schedule
Ben Crellin has updated the full blank and double calendar for the FPL Gameweek 23 tips. Double Gameweek 26 should be as good as confirmed before the Gameweek 24 deadline, and therefore perhaps being cautious with transfers this week will allow better preparation for the next.I've updated the schedule because there's a chance that some of the Blanks that can't fit into DGW26 will be moved to the midweeks in GWs 27+28.

There are UCL and UEL fixtures in those midweeks so only a small number of Blanks will be able to move there.https://t.co/waqF3IXZqv pic.twitter.com/osjdzZRoZB
Targets
With plenty of potential transfers on the agenda, FPL Editor pinpoints five key players to consider using the powerful Fantasy Football Fix algorithm. Two heavy hitting midfielders make the cut, one who has the form and the other who is in a barren spell. There’s also a couple of budget forwards up for consideration here, while plenty are disappointing among their ranks.? GW23 Top Five Key Players ?

Captains
When it comes to captaincy, with premium options floundering, the conversation looks to be wide open this week. Bruno Fernandes has leapfrogged Heung-Min Son as the top pick for this week, with that bias largely based on performances from the midweek games. Michail Antonio could be an excellent differential. My GW23 Captaincy Rankings #FPL pic.twitter.com/4bP75H7AiQ

Defenders
Anyone shopping for a new defender this week could be inclined to consider Marcos Alonso, who has gained a run in the Chelsea side since Frank Lampard departed Stamford Bridge. Chelsea have three consecutive clean sheets and Alonso is enjoying the freedom of the wing-back role. He’s one to keep an eye on.Marcos Alonso vs. Tottenham:

He’s outscoring other assets at similar and higher price points and the underlying statistics back up his performances.??Raphinha has the most points(27) in the game for any player since GW20!
