Goalkeeper

Jordan Pickford had another fantastic FPL campaign after impressing in the previous season. He helped Everton keep 12 clean sheets which contributed towards his total. He also produced an assist, which is very uncommon for a player between the sticks.

Defenders

Topping every other defender this season for points was Josko Gvardiol. Manchester City collected 11 clean sheets with three of them coning in their final four games. As well as clean sheets, Gvardiol also scored five times, which was more than any other in his position.

Joining him, and departing Liverpool after 20 years at the club is Trent Alexander-Arnold. Although coming close to Gvardiol’ total, Alexander-Arnold failed to play a huge 10 of Liverpool’ 38 Premier League matches.

After a heroic campaign from Nottingham Forest, it won’t surprise many to see Nikola Milinkovic. His side ended the campaign with 13 clean sheets, which was one of the highest. He also bagged five goals and two assists to increase his tally.

Midfielders

Amassing a whopping 344 FPL points in the latest season was Mohamed Salah. Liverpool won the Premier League title and a lot of that was due to the Egyptian who racked up a jaw-dropping 29 goals and 18 assists.

Also exceeding the 200+ point mark was Bryan Mbeumo, although considerably off Salah’ total. Brentford had another solid campaign, finishing around mid-table. It could have been a lot worse than that without Mbeumo’ 20 goals and nine assists.

Cole Palmer has enjoyed another successful season – collecting 200+ points for a second successive campaign. His latter half of the season was arguably disappointing from an output perspective, but with 15 goals and 10 assists, overall he was a very consistent asset.

West Ham flopped with another underwhelming season. That however didn’t stop their talisman Jarrod Bowen performing brilliantly. Bowen finished 24/25 with an impressive 13 goals and 11 assists – hitting double digits for both.

Forwards

Edging out every other striker was Newcastle penalty taker Alexander Isak. Isak was a huge contributor towards his side finishing in a Champions League place – scoring a huge 23 goas and creating six assists.

Joining Isak and another player who had a wonderful, arguably surprising campaign, was Chris Wood. Nottingham Forest failed to clinch Champions League football on the final day, but Wood’ 20 goals and three assists still helped secure a European spot.

Although not as successful, Ollie Watkins still raked in 16 goals and eight assists. Aston Villa also failed to grab a Champions League spot on the final day which wasn’t ideal, but they still claimed a Europa League spot.
