There’s plenty of great information to consume in this aggregate FPL Season Preview; including podcasts, videos, articles and threads.
I. FFH_Will: Psychology
First up in our FPL Season Preview, is Will from Fantasy Football Hub with a brand new YouTube How To series. As fantasy managers become more knowledgable, pushing for a psychological edge over your rivals could be the key to success in 2021/22.

II. Salah: Previews
FPL Salah has put a phenomenal effort into his preview articles over on Fantasy Football Hub, which are free to access. There’s over ten to read, covering every position and price point in the game: have these open alongside any tinkering you do.
These are free to access for all. Hopefully, you find them useful!

III. Goat: Goalkeepers
When it comes to goalkeepers, FPL Goat has everything we need to know in this Excel comparison sheet. There’s a number of players highlighted over the various metrics, including crucially the ability to obtain both saves and bonus points.
🚨 An excel sheet comparing all the goalkeepers in the game, Their data from 2020/21 season 🚨
⚪️ Ilan Meslier would be my go to pick he definitely requires the extra 0.5m but he is definitely worth it
🦤 Robert Sanchez would be my 2nd best option as BRI had the 3rd best xGC… pic.twitter.com/aemodyk7x2

IV. Teach Mode: Defenders
Moving onto midfielders, it’s often the £4.5 million options who can be pivotal to our team balance. FPL Teach Mode (Andy) is on the lookout for the very best enablers in this position, but very few managed to hit the mark last campaign.
The only current £4.5m defenders that reached 100 points last season?
🐺 Coady 106pts 7.9% owned
🔫 Holding 105pts 4.0% owned
🐦 White 104pts 12.8% owned
🍷 Lowton 103pts 3.1% owned
⚪️ Ayling 100pts 9.5% owned
Will you be owning any in GW1? 👀

V. Ted: Midfielders
Ted Talks FPL returns with a fantastic graphic to preview the mid-priced midfielders: another important category to optimise for overall squad balance. He’s compared shots against chances created in order to measure overall potential.

VI. All About: Forwards
All About FPL complete the positional elements, by focusing on the mid priced forwards. We are blessed with a wealth of options in this category for the FPL Season Preview, but finding the top performers early could be key to a good start.

VII. JianBatra: Planning
JianBatra has analysed the fixture swings in order to maximise early season planning. For managers who prioritise fixtures over form, having some transfers booked in down the line can help to yield more fantasy points over the opening phase of the campaign.
Early Transfer Plan (Thread):⚽️
Planning is essential to be successful in #FPL
Below I discuss moves which in hindsight look promising for managers
Getting on the good fixture runs early is one of the main ways to get ahead of the pack

VIII. Swede: Signings
We’ve got a number of new signings arriving for this campaign, of which some look to be more promising options than others. In another very popular thread, FPL Swede looks towards the most promising options we should consider for our teams.

IX. Eire: Fixtures
FPL Eire has the fixtures in mind when it comes to planning in this campaign, targeting the best run of fixtures from each club. Some sides should carry a greater weight in our Gameweek 1 considerations than others given the difficulty of their games.
— FPL Éire ☘️ (@FPL_Eire) July 23, 2021
X. Matthew: Value
We always need to find value players to get the balance right in Gameweek 1, with FPL Matthew generating a detailed algorithm to pinpoint these key players. There’s plenty of metrics to help measure who the best options for our team are.
Best Value FPL Players – a thread 🧵

XI. Architect: Set Pieces
Finally, FPL Architect has researched the set piece takers from each club. Dead ball situations often yield goals and assists so having a good mix of players from these lists of penalty, free-kick and corner takers should bring fantasy points.
