Who tops the list?
With a huge 8.27 points this week Erling Haaland (£15.3m) edges every other player in the league. The Norwegian will be hoping to get back amongst the goals against Fulham at home after failing to contribute anything of significance in his latest match against Newcastle.
The Top Five
Amongst the top five this week is Bukayo Saka with 7.40 points. The Arsenal penalty taker goes into his match against newly promoted Southampton having returned in every single one of his games so far.
It may come as no surprise that Chelsea’s Cole Palmer makes the top three. Palmer netted an incredible four goals in just one half of football against Brighton in Gameweek 6. Nottingham Forest lay ahead who have sustained some very good defensive data this season.
In fourth is Mohamed Salah with 6.28 points. The Egyptian was back amongst the goals last week after converting his penalty against Wolves. Liverpool and Salah take their good form into a match against strugglers Crystal Palace this week.
Completing the top five this week is Brentford Bryan Mbeumo with 6.08 points. Mbeumo produced a goal during the first minute of the game in both of his last two matches. His side meet with Wolves who have shipped 2+ goals in all of their last four games.
Who else features in the top 10?
Arsenal feature heavily this week as both Kai Havertz and Gabriel sit in the top 10. Based on the recent performances of newly promoted side Southampton, their upcoming opposition, we could see plenty of potential for the Arsenal assets.
Phil Foden unexpectedly joins the rest with 5.41 points. Foden has failed to start any of Manchester City’s Premier League matches this season but a meeting with Fulham could well see that change.
West Ham have a lovely fixture against newly promoted side Ipswich next. The Hammers will be hoping to build on their recent draw with Brentford and its’ Jarrod Bowen who is expected to contribute to that this week.
Completing the top 10 FPL predicted player points for Gameweek 7 is Ollie Watkins with 4.89 points. Aston Villa host Manchester United this week which could be an awkward fixture to navigate, but not enough to hinder Watkins.
