Last modified date

In this article we take a look at the top 10 FPL predicted player points for Gameweek 5. Using the fantastic tools over at Fantasy Football Scout members area we can find out how many points each asset is projected to get each round.

Fantasy Premier League continues so we access our fantastic predicted points tool and find out which players are going to get the most points this week. This could help clear up any 50/50 decisions before the Gameweek commences.

Who tops the list?

Edging every other player in the game this week is Mohamed Salah (£12.7m) with 7.53 points. Liverpool will be hoping to bounce back after their 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest and their main man has the opportunity to influence that up against a ropey Bournemouth defence.

The Top Five

Tottenham’s Son Heung-Min sits second for predicted points this week with 6.12. He faces a Brentford side who rank worst in the league for total shots on target conceded.

One player who will be aiming to get back into form is Cole Palmer. The Chelsea penalty taker failed to convince against Bournemouth in Gameweek 4. However, he faces West Ham who rank the worst for total shots in the box conceded.

Ollie Watkins looks set for more success this week with 5.60 points. He goes into his next match against Wolves at home after netting a brace in Gameweek 4.

Completing the top five this week is Tottenham striker Dominic Solanke (£7.5m). Solanke has recently returned from injury but after scoring 19 goals last campaign FPL managers will have high expectations this season.

Who else features in the top 10?

Amongst the top 10 FPL Predicted Player Points for Gameweek 5 is Erling Haaland with 5.35 points. Manchester City clash with Arsenal this week which could be why the Norwegian doesn’t sit in the top five for a change.

Eberechi Eze and Diogo Jota are both predicted to hit around five points. Both failed to pick up a significant return in the previous round but both also have good fixture this week.

Brighton duo Joao Pedro and Kaoru Mitoma complete the top 10. Joao Pedro wasn’t in the squad during Gameweek 4 due to injury so he could be worth monitoring. Meanwhile, Mitoma featured but flopped in the 0-0 draw to Ipswich.
