Just edging Mohamed Salah this week, and making a rare appearance in the number one spot is Cole Palmer (£11.2m) with 5.96 points. The Chelsea penalty taker has been well below par recently, but a match against Aston Villa could change that.

The Rest of the Top Five

Not far behind Palmer, is of course Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian has been excellent all season, and he takes his current form into an interesting clash against Manchester City.

Newcastle will be looking to bounce back after their surprising 4-0 defeat to Manchester City in Gameweek 25. This week, it doesn’t get much easier, as they host a tough Nottingham Forest side. Expected to be among the goals is the fantastic Alexander Isak.

It may not be a huge shock that a Tottenham attacker makes the top five this week. This week they come up against Ipswich, who rank second worst in the league for big chances conceded. This could play into the hands of Son Heung-Min, who hit 10 points in his recent game against Brentford.

Completing the top five for Gameweek 26, is Bournemouth penalty taker Justin Kluivert. The Cherries face the third worst defence in the league next up, Wolves. Kluivert heads into the meeting having managed five goals and two assists in his previous five league games.

Who else features in the top 10?

Three wins on the bounce suggests Arsenal are coping well with key injuries. One player who remains fit for the Gooners is Martin Odegaard. The Norwegian scored against Manchester City recently, and could repeat that against London rivals West Ham in Gameweek 26.

Brentford have a huge opportunity to both win and score goals this week. The Bees meet with a poor Leicester defence, and their standout attacker remains to be penalty taker Bryan Mbeumo.

Another Bournemouth attacker breaks into the top 10 this week. The game against Wolves could see the Cherries win their fourth match in a five-game period. Returning in four of his last five games is Antoine Semenyo.

Brighton have found their feet offensively once more, after back-to-back wins against Chelsea in the league and Cup. Helping them achieve that was Kaoru Mitoma. Mitoma has produced three double-digit hauls in his last five matches and faces a poor Southampton defence next.

Manchester United have been extremely inconsistent this season and face-off with a recently rejuvenated Everton side. It could be a tough match for Ruben Amorim and his men. However, Bruno Fernandes looks set for points.
