Fantasy Premier League continues so we access our fantastic predicted points tool and find out which players are going to get the most points this week. This could help clear up any 50/50 decisions before the Gameweek commences.
Who tops the list?
It’s no suprise that Mohamed Salah (£13.7m) edges every other player for predicted points this week with 13.77. The Egyptian has racked up over 30 attacking returns in the Premier League this season, and the double Gameweek ahead, makes him even more essential.
The Rest of the Top Five
Predictably, Trent Alexander-Arnold sits second this week with 8.66 points. The Liverpool full-back once again displayed his attacking potential, after mustering up an assist in Gameweek 23.
The only single Gameweek player breaking into the top five this week is Cole Palmer. The penalty taker faces West Ham next, who continue to produce poor underlying defensive data – in fact, they rank among the worst five teams for several metrics.
Two matches against Everton and Bournemouth could mean two clean sheets for the joint best defence in the league. Because of this, Alisson Becker is expected to do well with 7.58 points.
Completing the top five is Dominic Calvert-Lewin. Unfortunately he picked up an injury in his previous match which is likely to see him miss the double Gameweek ahead. This means that there isn’t a fit Everton player in the top five this week.
Who else features in the top 10?
After his double-digit haul in Gameweek 23, it could be another successful round for Cody Gakpo. The Dutchman seems to be one of Liverpool’ most reliable attackers for gametime.
We were always going to see Virgil Van Dijk in the top 10 this week, it was just a question of where he would place. The Dutchman is as reliable as they come for gametime, and he can also be a goal threat from set-plays.
Surprisingly, the only fit Everton asset to make the list this week is Jordan Pickford. As well as having save point potential, he also ranks above every other goalkeeper in the game for bonus, which is a good sign.
Alex Mac Allister also makes the cut, which could be a surprise to some considering his central midfield position. The Argentine has managed to return in just three of his matches this season, so he hasn’t been a regular among the goals and assists.
Completing the top 10 for Gameweek 24, Luis Diaz should arguably rank higher this week. The Colombian has started the last five consecutive matches for his side, so minutes may not be an issue for him. Although the case, his output is hugely questionable – having bagged one return in the same five matches mentioned.
