Who tops the list?

Topping every other player for predicted points in Gameweek 16 is Cole Palmer (£11m) with 7.95. The Chelsea penalty taker has a great opportunity to continue his form, against a Brentford side who sit as the worst in the league for total shots on target conceded.

The Rest of the Top Five

Mohamed Salah is one of two players expected to hit between 6-7 points. Liverpool’ Gameweek 15 fixture against Everton was postponed. So, the Reds should be raring to go for their home meeting with Fulham. This week could be a great opening for Salah to bag his 11th double-digit haul of the campaign.

Its no surprise that Arsenal talisman Bukayo Saka sits in third place with 6.14 points. The Gooners head into the match against Everton, having notched up a massive 15 goals in their last four matches, excluding their tie against Fulham.

Manchester United may be under new management, but they are still inconsistent. This means that Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is expected to do well. Although out of sorts recently, the Norwegian scored in his latest clash against Crystal Palace.

Completing the top five this week is Newcastle penalty taker and main goal threat Alexander Isak. Promoted side Leicester lay ahead, who have produced some of the worst underlying defensive metrics in the league so far.

Who else features in the top 10?

A fixture against promoted side Southampton could see Tottenham score goals this week. With that in mind, it isn’t a surprise to see penalty taker Son Heung-Min in the top 10.

Chelsea’ meeting with Brentford is another fixture which could offer up attacking potential. The Blues are one of the highest scorers in the league up to this point. Leading that frontline is Nicolas Jackson (£8.2m), who ranks amongst the top five players in the league for non-penalty expected goal involvement.

Wolves will be hoping to bounce back after recent losses to Everton and Bournemouth. Their main threat, and another striker predicted to do well is Matheus Cunha with 5.12 points. Cunha has a home fixture against a poor Ipswich defence next up.

Completing the top 10 this week is Newcastle’ Anthony Gordon with 5.09 points and Arsenal’ Martin Odegaard with 5.01 points.
