Who tops the list?
It may come as no surprise that Cole Palmer (£10.9m) tops the predicted points this week with 7.35. The Chelsea talisman faces Southampton next up, who have shipped at least three goals in their six of their matches so far this season.
The Rest of the Top Five
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah comes closest to Palmer this week. Newcastle are up next for the Egyptian, which could be a great opportunity for him to continue his excellent form. Salah has produced a huge eight double-digit hauls already this season, which shows just how explosive he can be.
Many won’t be surprised to see Erling Haaland amongst the top five. But, the Norwegian has been poor recently, or at least to his standards. Manchester City face Nottingham Forest at home this week, which could see him back amongst the goals.
With an interesting home match against Manchester United next, there is no telling what sort of game we are going to see. However, one player predicted to perform well is Bukayo Saka. Saka goes into the heavy weight clash, off the back of great recent form.
Aston Villa tent to perform better at home, which is where they play Brentford this week. Leading their attack, as usual, is Ollie Watkins. Watkins has been underwhelming recently, but that could change against the Bees this week.
Who else features in the top 10?
Nicolas Jackson breaks into the top 10, largely due to his clash this week. Jackson has produced seven goals and three assists already this season, which is likely to increase in Gameweek 14.
Bournemouth could be a good team to target from a defensive perspective. Taking that into account, the best attack in the league thus far and their penalty taker, Son Heung-Min could have potential.
Two players who haven’t made the top 10 for some time are midfielders Martin Odegaard and Phil Foden. The former has managed back-to-back returns whilst the latter hasn’t returned since Gameweek 8.
Jarrod Bowen has a lovely fixture against Leicester away this week. West Ham need to start maintaining a positive run of results, and with seven returns already this season, Bowen can help his side do just that, starting this week.
