Who tops the list?
With 6.81 points, Cole Palmer (£10.1m) is predicted to edge every other player in the game this week. This may come as a surprise on paper as Chelsea face Aston Villa next up. However. Unai Emery’s men have shipped at least two goals in their last three matches, reflecting a questionable run of defensive form.
The Top Five
Joining Cole Palmer in the top five is Bruno Fernandes with 5.85 points. The Manchester United penalty taker has a plum home fixture against Everton this week, and goes into the game off the back of banking two double-digit hauls in his last two games.
Tottenham have been hit and miss recently, but they have a good opportunity to gain momentum against Fulham this week after their win against Manchester City. Hoping to help his side is Son Heung-Min, who has managed three returns in his previous four games.
It could be his last opportunity to impress FPL managers week, as they set to offload him due to tough fixtures. Bryan Mbeumo has picked up just one return in his last three games. But, a fixture against Leicester could see him back amongst the goals.
Squeezing into the top five this week is Mohamed Salah with 5.68 points. Liverpool face off with Manchester City this week. But, based on his fantastic form and Manchester City’s recent demise, the Egyptian could be set for another successful week.
Who else features in the top 10?
Two Brighton players feature in the top 10 ahead of Gameweek 13. Joao Pedro and Kaoru Mitoma are predicted to pick up between 4-5 points this week. Both players also scored in their latest match against Bournemouth.
Sitting sixth with 5.06 points is Bukayo Saka. Saka scored and assisted in his Gameweek 12 fixture against Nottingham Forest. He takes that form into clash with an inconsistent West Ham side.
Tottenham striker Dominic Solanke also joins the list with 4.92 points. Solanke has a good home fixture against a Fulham side who conceded four goals to Wolves in the recent round.
Chelsea’s fixture against Aston Villa appears to be a good one according to the predicted points. That is evident as Nicolas Jackson joins teammate Cole Palmer. Jackson goes into the new round full of confidence, after securing a goal and an assist against Leicester in Gameweek 12.
