FPL Predicted Player Points for Gameweek 1

In this article we take a look at the top 10 FPL predicted player points for Gameweek 1. Using the fantastic tools over at Fantasy Football Scout members area we can find out how many points each asset is projected to get each round.

Fantasy Premier League has returned for another season and kick off is just days away. We access our fantastic predicted points tool and find out which players are going to get the most points this week. This could help clear up any 50/50 decisions before the Gameweek commences.

Who tops the list?

No player in the league is projected to hit more points than Mohamed Salah (£12.5m) this week with 6.94. The Liverpool talisman goes into the new campaign off the back of 18 goals and 10 assists last season. Salah faces a mouth-watering proposition against newly promoted Ipswich this week.

Positions 2-5

Sitting in second place is Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka (£10m) with 6.75 points. Saka amassed 25 goal contributions in the Premier League last season and a match against Wolves could help him get off to a successful start.

Newcastle are another side with a great starting fixture. The Magpies clash with newly promoted side Southampton in the first round. So, striker Alexander Isak (£8.5m), unsurprisingly, make his way into the top five with 6.65 points.

Another player many won’t be surprised to see feature is Erling Haaland (£15m). Haaland faces Chelsea this week and although seemingly tough on paper he has been very successful against them recently – scoring five goals and creating one assist in his last three head-to-heads.

Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes (£8.5m) completes the top five for projected points. Fulham at home could be an ideal hunting ground for the penalty taker as he looks to improve on his 23/24 tally of 10 goals and eight assists.

Who else features in the top 10?

Tottenham’s early clash with the newly promoted Leicester could see potential for their players. One of those players is midfielder and penalty taker Son Heung-Min (£10m) who trails Fernandes slightly with 5.91 points.

Arsenal continue to feature as they face Wolves this week. Martin Odegaard (£8.5m) accumulated an impressive 18 goal contributions last season and his 24/25 campaign is expected to get started with 5.87 points.

Newcastle are the second team with an attacking duo in the top 10. Midfielder Anthony Gordon (£7.5m) scored in his first pre-season match back for the Magpies and combined with his end of season success in 23/24 he goes into the first Gameweek in good form.

It’s an Arsenal bonanza this week as Kai Havertz (£8m) also features. Is 5.00 points enough to attract you as an investor? The German produced a cool 13 goals and seven assists last campaign.

Completing the top 10 is Eberechi Eze (£7m) with 4.92 points. Crystal Palace have a brilliant opportunity as they clash with Brentford this week. Eze bagged four goals and two assists in his last six matches of the 23/24 league campaign.
