Our FPL planning for Gameweeks 24-26 can be extremely helpful to fantasy managers. Having a good idea of which teams to invest in and which players to buy could help you claim a successful start season. So, let’s dive in!
Gameweek 24-26 Fixtures
Below we can see the Fantasy Football Scout Fixture Ticker in difficulty order. The teams at the top have the easiest fixtures and the teams at the bottom have the toughest fixtures.
Who has the best fixtures?
Everton and Liverpool sit at the top of the fixture ticker for the period ahead. This is mostly due to the fact they have a double Gameweek this week.
Brentford, Tottenham and Crystal Palace all also rank among the top five teams with the easiest fixtures.
Who has the worst fixtures?
Manchester City, Wolves, West Ham, Newcastle and Fulham all rank among the bottom five teams with the toughest fixtures.
Best Players to Buy
- Everton – The double Gameweek makes Everton one of the most appealing teams to invest in, especially taking into account they have won their previous two matches under new manager David Moyes. In goal, FPL managers could opt for Jordan Pickford (£5m). Full-back Vitalii Mykolenko (£4.4m) is one of the cheapest routes into the defence. The injury to Dominic Calvert-Lewin is an unfortunate one, but Iliman Ndiaye (£5.4m) could be the next best option in attack.
- Liverpool – Every active manager in the game should be flocking to Liverpool assets this week. A cheap route into defence is goalkeeper Alisson Becker (£5.5m), but even cheaper is centre-back Ibrahima Konate (£5.2m). The most attacking option in defence is of course Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.3m), who some would consider essential this week. More essential than any asset heading into the next round is Mohamed Salah (£13.7m). Another great option in attack is Cody Gakpo (£7.6m), who is both reliable for minutes and effective. Some may even consider midfielder Luis Diaz (£7.5m).
Who else should we consider?
- Bryan Mbeumo (7.8m) and Yoane Wissa (£6.3m) – Fixtures against Tottenham, West Ham and Leicester, three very poor defences, could be fantastic opportunities for the lethal Brentford attackers. Penalty taker Mbeumo should be a priority but Wissa has also proven to be one of the most effective strikers in the league in terms of his minutes to returns conversion rate.
- Crystal Palace – The Eagles still have some great fixtures, so its not too late to invest. Goalkeeper Dean Henderson (£4.5m) and full-back Alex Munoz (£4.8m) are the standouts at the back. Striker Jean Philippe Mateta (£7.4m) is in a fantastic run of form currently, whilst Eberechi Eze (£6.7m) is also enjoying a purple patch. Although short of both in terms of consistency, fellow midfielder Ismaila Sarr (£5.8m) is the cheapest route into the attack.
- Morgan Rogers (£5.6m) – Aston Villa have some nice fixtures ahead, and although short of defensive form, have shown to be fully capable offensively. With that in mind, and taking into account his minutes, Rogers could be a great budget enabler.
- Bournemouth – The Cherries may have Liverpool next, but bringing their assets in early for their excellent run of fixtures could be wise. Unbeaten in their last 10 games, Bournemouth are in fantastic form and some of that is due to penalty taker Justin Kluivert (£5.7m), who has bagged 43 points in his previous three matches. Although frustrating and certainly a lesser option than Kluivert, fellow midfielder Antoine Semenyo (£5.6m) is still a great pick.
Should We Use a Chip?
Everton and Liverpool’ double Gameweek could signal a good opportunity to use a chip. Many could be considering triple captaining Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Salah (£13.7m), whilst others choose between activating the assistant manager chip on either Liverpool’ Arne Slot or Everton’ David Moyes.
Most managers will be holding onto the likes of Bench Boost, Free Hit, and Wildcard for a larger double Gameweek or Blank Gameweek.
