Gameweek 13-15 Fixtures
Below we can see the Fantasy Football Scout Fixture Ticker in difficulty order. The teams at the top have the easiest fixtures and the teams at the bottom have the toughest fixtures.
Who has the best fixtures?
Ipswich, Wolves, Brighton, Leicester, and Aston Villa all rank amongst the top five teams with the easiest fixtures.
Who has the worst fixtures?
Fulham, Liverpool, Southampton, Newcastle, and Manchester City all rank amongst the bottom five sides with the toughest fixtures.
Best players to buy
- Wolves – Gary O’Neil’s men rank second on the fixture ticker, with fixtures against Bournemouth, West Ham and Everton. They could have clean sheet potential, so full-back Rayan Ait Nouri (£4.8m) is a great option, he has also scored three times this season already. The standout attacker is Matheus Cunha (£6.8m) who has managed a return in each of his last three games. Although, those on a budget could opt for the cheaper Strand Larsen (£5.6m).
- Brighton – Southampton, Fulham and Leicester could hold plenty of potential for Brighton ahead. At the back, Bart Verbruggen (£4.5m) could be a great option between the sticks. Ahead of him defence, Paul Van Hecke (£4.5m) offers himself up as a solid defender pick. Full-back Pervis Estupinan (£5m) could offer more attacking threat, but for a higher price. In attack, Danny Welbeck (£6m) has returned in four of his last five matches. Another forward to consider is Joao Pedro (£5.5m), who bagged a double-digit haul upon his return from injury.
- Aston Villa – Unai Emery’s men seem to be creeping back into an easing schedule. They come up against Chelsea, Brentford and Southampton in the next three matches. Ranking amongst the best defenders in the league this season for distribution metrics is full-back Lucas Digne (£4.7m). He could well be the standout option in defence. Leading the attack is of course Ollie Watkins (£9m), he will be hoping to put his three consecutive blanks behind and maintain a good run of form. Another but cheaper option in midfield is Morgan Rogers (£5.4m), who bagged two returns in his last four games.
Who else should we consider?
- Arsenal – A great run of fixtures, starting with matches against West Ham, Manchester United and Fulham in the next three, could be a great opportunity to invest. The cheapest routes into the defence is goalkeeper David Raya (£5.5m) and defender Jurrien Timber (£5.5m). The standout defensive option, due to his attacking threat, remains Gabriel (£6.1m). Bukayo Saka’s (£10.1m) goal and assist in Gameweek 12, was another reminder that he is their most effective attacker.
- Tottenham – After beating Manchester City in a shock 4-0 victory, Tottenham now come up against Fulham, Bournemouth and Chelsea in their next three games. Full-back Pedro Porro (£5.5m) proved why he is their best defensive option in his latest match, scoring and keeping a clean sheet, which helped him to a huge 14 points. There are lots of great options in attack. For those on a budget then midfielders Dejan Kulusevski (£6.3m) and Brennan Johnson (£6.7m) continue to impress. Managers with a bit more money could opt for striker Dominic Solanke (£7.6m). The most premium attacker you could buy is penalty taker Son Heung-Min (£9.9m).
- Chelsea – The Blues have a huge fixture swing ahead, with no tough fixtures until Manchester City in Gameweek 23. The most reliable options for minutes at the back is goalkeeper Robert Sanchez (£4.8m) and centre-back Levi Colwill (£4.5m). Penalty taker Cole Palmer (£10.9m) remains their standout pick in attack. However, recent performances suggest Nicolas Jackson (£7.9m) could also be an excellent option. A cheaper option in the Chelsea attack is midfielder Noni Madueke (£6.4m), who appears to be key for the manager Enzo Maresca, regardless of his under-performances.
Should I use a chip?
The most experienced managers tend to save their chips for Blank and Double Gameweeks. So, being patient and waiting for those to arrive could be a wise move.
