Gameweek 12-14 Fixtures
Below we can see the Fantasy Football Scout Fixture Ticker in difficulty order. The teams at the top have the easiest fixtures and the teams at the bottom have the toughest fixtures.
Who has the best fixtures?
Everton, Ipswich, Chelsea, Arsenal, Wolves and Brighton all rank amongst the top six teams with the easiest fixtures.
Who has the worst fixtures?
Nottingham Forest, Southampton, Manchester City, West Ham, Liverpool and Tottenham rank amongst the bottom six sides with the toughest fixtures.
Best players to buy
- Chelsea – Sitting third in the league, Chelsea have started the season strong. Upcoming fixtures Leicester, Aston Villa and Southampton could mean plenty of potential for their assets, including defensive options like goalkeeper David Sanchez (£4.7m) and centre-back Levi Colwill (£4.7m). Cole Palmer (£10.9m) remains the standout attacking pick. But, another midfielder drawing in attention is the much cheaper Pedro Neto (£6.2m). Leading the attack is Nicolas Jackson (£7.9m), who has managed just three less attacking returns than Palmer this season.
- Arsenal – Nottingham Forest, West Ham and Manchester United could be good opportunities for the Arsenal players. In defence Jurrien Timber (£5.5m) could be the cheapest route into the backline. However, based on his attacking data Gabriel (£6.1m) is the best defensive option. Penalty taker Bukayo Saka (£10.1m) will almost certainly be a key target for FPL managers. Some looking for a striker could even back Kai Havertz (£8m) who will be hoping to return for the first time in five matches.
- Wolves – Their fixtures continue to turn for the better, with meetings against Fulham, Bournemouth and Everton. Rayan Ait Nouri (£4.7m) is their most attacking asset in defence, a slightly cheaper option is centre-back Craig Dawson (£4.4m). Matheus Cunha (£6.8m) is in fantastic form, so it’s difficult to look past him in attack. However, for managers limited in terms of budget, then fellow striker Strand Larsen (£5.6m) could be a good alternative.
Who else should we consider?
- Brighton – Brighton are another side coming into a good run of fixtures. The Seagulls offer up the likes of goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen (£4.5m) and centre-back Paul van Hecke (£4.5m) in defence. Strikers Danny Welbeck (£5.9m) and penalty taker Joao Pedro (£5.4m) are likely to get most of the attention in attack based on recent form. But, Kaoru Mitoma (£6.4m) could be the standout midfield option.
- Brentford – Brentford remain a great team for investment. The Bees still have fixtures against Everton, Aston Villa and Leicester ahead. Those that want to back an inconsistent defence could opt for goalkeeper Mark Flekken (£4.5m) or centre-back Nathan Collins (£4.5m). Penalty taker and midfielder Bryan Mbeumo (£7.9m) is still the standout but striker Yoane Wissa (£6.1m) has managed two double-digit hauls in his last three matches.
- Aston Villa – It appears as though Unai Emery’s men are coming into another great run of fixtures. Full-back Lucas Digne (£4.7m) has proven attacking enough to make him a much better pick than his defensive teammates. Those looking for a defender around the £4.5m mark then Ezri Konsa offers exactly that. The cheapest route into the Aston Villa attack is the in-form Morgan Rogers (£5.4m). Leading the frontline is of course striker Ollie Watkins (£9m) who will certainly be a popular pick.
Should I use a chip?
The most experienced managers tend to save their chips for Blank and Double Gameweeks. So, being patient and waiting for those to arrive could be a wise move.
