FPL GW31 Transfers: Robertson transfers for injured Alexander-Arnold

A look at which Fantasy Premier League (FPL) players have had the most transfers in and out so far this Gameweek.

FPL Transfers

These are the most bought and sold players so far, as of Wednesday morning. Furthermore, the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) deadline is at 11:00am (GMT) on Saturday 2 April.

As with most international breaks, transfers slow down during the middle weekend and only really accelerate near the deadline, as FPL managers wait to see what injuries and travel problems occur.

This time, the suspension of Raul Jimenez and injury to Trent Alexander-Arnold have spurred early activity. Liverpool’s right-back is the most-sold player so far, with left-back team mate Andrew Robertson completing the popular sideways move. Jurgen Klopp didn’t specify a length of absence, just that it’d be “weeks”.

According to The Athletic, Alexander-Arnold will miss Gameweek 31 against Watford and the Champions League trip to Benfica. Following that, Liverpool face title rivals Man City then only play once in Double Gameweek 33. Therefore, some sellers have opted to avoid their defence altogether for a few weeks.

Kai Havertz nets last-gasp winner as nervy Chelsea end turbulent week with win | BT Sport

Chelsea’s fixture swing begins this weekend with a home clash against Brentford. Kai Havertz has played all 360 minutes of their last four league games, scoring four times and assisting once. Whilst FPL managers were notoriously burnt by Havertz’s blank during their 7-0 win over Norwich in Gameweek 9, he is now in form and likely to keep playing as the season reaches its climax.

Elsewhere, the popularity of Bukayo Saka continues to escalate. He has 15 attacking returns this season and is the key player for in-form Arsenal. Mohamed Salah was sold before his blank in Gameweek 30 and many of his 70,000 tranfers will be from this week’s Wildcard users. Up front, it’s hard to look past Harry Kane right now despite his expensive price tag.

Injuries to Aaron Ramsdale and Jarrod Bowen are still unclear, so numerous managers have sold them. Aston Villa come last in Fantasy Football Scout’s Fixture Ticker – partly because of a Gameweek 33 blank – so Philippe Coutinho is also on the chopping block.
