FPL Gossip and Rumours: Manchester United new management? Haaland and Dybala to the PL?
A look at the latest FPL rumours and gossip that are getting the FPL community talking.
Manchester United Management
Eric Ten Hag is trending on Twitter this morning as both he and Mauricio Pochettino are once again listed as the front runners to take over at Manchester United this summer.
Ten Hag is the current coach at Ajax. He signed a new contract with them last summer which runs until June 2023.
Pochettino has had a difficult time managing PSG. There are many rumours circulating that his job in Paris is under threat as a result of poor results and a lack of silverware.
Liverpool already eyeing up summer transfer targets
With the January transfer window having only closed on Monday there is already plenty of rumour about Liverpool’s top targets for the summer window. Multiple sources are linking the red side of Merseyside with a move for long term Spurs target Paulo Dybala.
Dybala is free to leave Juventus this summer as a result of contract talks failing. With rumours surrounding Liverpool’s interest, as well as continued interest from North London, could Dybala be a feature in FPL next season?
Haaland to Manchester?
Much like with Dybala the clubs have barely introduced their new January signings to their team mates and Twitter is awash with rumours ahead of the summer.
Haaland’s future has been debated for a couple of seasons now. It is Manchester City who are rumoured to be leading the race for his signature.
With 80 goals in 79 games in the Bundesliga Haaland would make a great addition to the City squad. However, he is also linked with a move to Real Madrid. City also just signed striker Julian Alvarez during the January transfer window.
