Erik ten Hag reportedly taking English lessons to prepare for Man United talks
According to the Daily Mail, Ajax boss Erik ten Hag is taking English language lessons to ensure he has a fluent grasp of the language ahead of a possible move to Man United this summer. The 52-year-old intends to leave the Dutch champions this summer and is amongst the top contenders to take charge at Old Trafford. Should he miss out, ten Hag still has an intent to manage in the Premier League.
Newcastle forward Allan Saint-Maximin still not seen in training pictures
The attacking focal point of Newcastle’s revival under Eddie Howe, Allan Saint-Maximin has missed their last two games because of a minor calf issue that took him to France for “intensive, specialised treatment.”
On Tuesday morning, the 24-year-old posted an Instagram video saying “I’m back”. Yet training pictures released by the club’s media team do not yet show the forward.
Fortunately, there is still Thursday and Friday to get Saint-Maximin involved ahead of the match at home to Brighton. It kicks off their double-double of the next two FPL gameweeks. The first pair is against the Seagulls and Southampton (a), followed by trips to Chelsea and Everton.
