FPL Gameweek 8 Team Reveal
Two free transfers allows much needed surgery for the FPL Gameweek 8 Team Reveal, with Trent Alexander-Arnold on the way out.
Releasing funds in defence gives valuable funds for improving the midfield and forward positions, with a change of formation potentially on the cards.

Gameweek 7 ended on just 39 points, with yet another captaincy blank. Frustratingly, Mo Salah and Harry Kane both returned, but Son Heung-Min who I eventually plumped for failed to deliver. Dominic Calvert-Lewin provided the only other return, with no clean sheets in sight. Trent Alexander-Arnold’s time in my team has now come to an end: he’s simply too inconsistent for his price and there are serious question marks over the current ability of this Liverpool back-line. Phil Foden is on borrowed time after two weeks on the bench and a pair of tough upcoming fixtures.FPL Gameweek 8 Team Reveal
First on the agenda it’s Trent Alexander-Arnold replacements, and a desire to stay with a premium. Chelsea have been very consistent so far, so Ben Chilwell and Kurt Zouma are in the frame. Ben Chilwell looks to have a more sustainable source of points, so he’s likely to come in for Alexander-Arnold. I’m currently torn on upgrading Phil Foden for Jack Grealish, or moving to a 3-4-3 by swapping Davis for Ollie Watkins or Patrick Bamford. Significant Champions League minutes for Foden could be the deal-breaker here. Captain options are between Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min. Son has a greater points return away from home and is more explosive, but Kane is on penalties and has a six game streak of returns now so I’m going to play safe with him. At the time of writing, the team is ranked at 2,884,126 with 358 points. All chips are available. Team value lies at £100.0 million, with £0.8 million in the bank.Get even more Fantasy Premier League Tips by visiting the Fantasy Football Community Homepage.
