FPL Gameweek 5 Tips: Last Minute

FPL Gameweek 5 Tips

With the International Break finally over, it’s time for the community to look ahead to the FPL Gameweek 5 tips.

It’s been a busy week in the transfer window, with Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son dominating the transfers in for the FPL Gameweek 5 Tips.

Spurs

Many managers are clamouring for in-form Spurs players this week, and while the luxury would be to have both, many need to choose between Son and Kane. FPL Heisenberg has crunched the numbers on this sensational duo for the FPL Gameweek 5 tips.

Wildcard

One of the most high profile managers in the community, Will from Fantasy Football Hub, has activated his wildcard over the International Break. Check out his latest YouTube video to see how he’s planning to set up for the foreseeable.

Form

Player form is a huge consideration, especially when fixtures and difficulty are so difficult to call. FPL Spectrum analyses the consistent returners, with a familiar host of names in the spotlight to date. It comes as no surprise to see them ranked highly for transfers in too.

Watchlist

FPL General updates his watchlist following the first block of Premier League fixtures on the latest episode of the 59th Minute Podcast. Patience is urged once more as we wait for the season to settle down, but there are some sensible moves that could be made this week.

Fixtures

The first International Break has always been a traditionally popular time to wildcard, and one half of the Hail Cheaters has activated this week. Josh runs through his latest wildcard ideas on the latest episode of the Always Cheating podcast, with an eye on upcoming fixtures too.

Statistics

Ted Talks FPL has been back crunching the data for the FPL Gameweek 5 tips, with clear results on his top five players for the season. Mo Salah leads the way with a superb balance of goal and assist threat, ahead the duo of Spurs attackers.

Injuries

It’s set to be a busy couple of days for injury news but Ben Dinnery will have us covered ahead of the deadline for the FPL Gameweek 5 tips. There’s already been some positive news for Tariq Lamptey ahead of Brighton’s derby game against Crystal Palace.

Targets

In the latest edition of my form vs fixture charts on Fantasy Football Hub, I’ve taken form from the opening four gameweeks along with fixture difficulty to come up with my top three transfer targets this week. I’ve made a decision on Kane or Son.

Odds

The bookies odds can be very insightful when it comes to nailing down those selections and captaincy. FPL Salah provides the latest clean sheet probabilities and it’s slim pickings: can Sheffield United finally find some joy as they host Fulham?

Everton

The period post International Break always poses big questions about availability and Everton could potentially struggle to field James Rodriguez in the Merseyside Derby. FPL Tipz shares the facts and starts the discussion for the significant early kick off.

Poll

It’s no surprise to see the two Spurs attackers heading up the Fantasy Football Pundits captaincy poll for Gameweek 5, with Mo Salah among the names in the frame. It could be a split decision this week, with no clear standout: will a good choice propel you up the rankings?

Captains

Finally, Joe goes solo this week in the latest Fantasy Football Scout video, as he casts his eye over the best captain picks this week. There will be some headaches in there, with question marks over some of our most favoured premium players in the game.
