FPL Gameweek 5 Team Reveal
Kevin De Bruyne’s injury provides plenty of headaches for the FPL Gameweek 5 Team with just one free transfer available for the weekend.
There’s a desire for Everton assets, with the illusive Dominic Calvert-Lewin top of the shopping list, despite a tricky home fixture against Champions Liverpool.

Gameweek 4 brought 46 points for another red arrow and a week below the average. A double Southampton clean sheet provided a rare glimmer of hope, plus a fortunate return for Bruno Fernandes and a brace for Mo Salah despite a Liverpool thrashing. The captain Kevin De Bruyne blanked for a second week running and Raul Jimenez disappointed as the transfer in as Wolves failed to create much against Fulham. Phil Foden is yet to provide an attacking return for the side and the defence faltered with Trent Alexander-Arnold registering negative points.FPL Gameweek 5 Team Reveal
This week the top priority is to bring in Dominic Calvert-Lewin: I simply cannot ignore his goal scoring form anymore, with one of Raul Jimenez or Aleksandar Mitrovic making way. The Merseyside Derby isn’t deterring me from making the move this week. Taking Mitrovic out would incur a points hit, but with late news emerging that Kevin De Bruyne will be out for a couple of weeks, the transfers in make sense. Both of those players make way, with in-form Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Heung-Min Son coming in. That’s assets from two key teams acquired now, with only an Aston Villa attacker a clear absentee from the squad. Captain options look to be thin on the ground this week, with the three premium players to choose from: Bruno Fernandes, Son Heung-Min and Mo Salah. Fernandes perhaps has the better fixture, but Salah is playing in the superior attack and provides plenty of goal and assist threat, so he gets the armband this week. I don’t quite trust Son with the armband just yet. At the time of writing, the team is ranked at 1,901,765 with 213 points. All chips are available. Team value lies at £98.7 million, with £1.5 million in the bank.Get even more Fantasy Premier League Tips by visiting the Fantasy Football Community Homepage and check out more great content ahead of FPL Gameweek 5. –> Fantasy Weekly FPL Podcast Gameweek 5 –> UEFA Champions League Fantasy €250,000 Game
