FPL Gameweek 4 Fixtures Ranked – Best Teams to Target

With FPL Gameweek 4 Fixtures Ranked, we can get a clear picture of which teams are best to target and which to avoid. Looking at the schedule this way helps highlight the strongest opportunities for points, making it easier to plan transfers and captaincy picks.
In this guide, we’ll run through the standout fixtures, potential traps, and the sides most worth backing this week.
Fixture Ticker
Using the Fantasy Football Scout Fixture Ticker, we can see that teams with best fixtures are positioned near the top, whilst the teams positioned towards the bottom have the worst fixtures.

Who has the best fixtures?
Crystal Palace rank above every other side on the fixture ticker ahead of Gameweek 4. The Eagles go into their match against newly promoted Sunderland after winning against Aston Villa, and holding Nottingham Forest and Chelsea to a draw during the first three games.
Another side expected to win and win well this week is Liverpool. Arne Slot’ men are the only side in the league to have won every one of their first matches in the league. That streak is likely to continue with a match against newly promoted Burnley this week.
Newcastle’ home match against Wolves could also hold potential for their assets. The Magpies are yet to produce a win this season – drawing two and losing one of their first three. It could be the week that Newcastle turn their form around, as they face off with a side who have lost all three of their games.

Who has the worst fixtures?
As mentioned, Burnley face Liverpool away from home, which could be one of, if not their toughest match on paper this season. Burnley have had a mixed start to campaign – losing to Manchester United and Tottenham but beating Sunderland. Potentially their biggest concern is the fact they have already shipped six goals.
Nottingham Forest haven’t got it easy this week either. An away trip to Arsenal could be extremely limiting for their assets. Forest are also yet to keep a clean sheet thus far, which will be concerning for those with defensive assets.
As discussed, the Manchester sides clash this week which could throw up a surpirse or two. Manchester City have won just two of their previous five matches against their neighbours, so Pep Guardiola’ men will be keen to improve their run.
