Best Wildcard
With only one week to build a team for, attacking the fixtures ahead is the play here.
Between the sticks and playing for one of the best defences in the league, we could opt for Arsenal’ David Raya (£5.5m), who faces a woeful Southampton. In the unlikely event Raya fails to feature, Bournemouth’ Kepa Arrizabalaga (£4.6m) is on the bench as back-up.
Doubling up on the Arsenal defence up against the worst attack in the league could see joy. The safest option among the Arsenal defenders for gametime this week is centre-back Jakub Kiwior (£4.8m).
Manchester City’ Josko Gvardiol (£6.5m) and Bournemouth’ Milos Kerkez (£5.2m), as well as having clean sheet potential, also offer plenty from an offensive perspective, so have multiple routes to points.
On the bench and unlikely to feature is Aston Villa’ Ezri Konsa (£4.4m) and Newcastle’ Fabian Schar (£5.5m). Both centre-backs have proven their clean sheet and attacking potential over the last several Gameweeks.

A fixture against the worst defence in the league could be difficult to ignore. With that in mind, Bukayo Saka (£10.3m) eases into the team. Another shoo-in could be Brentford’ main man and penalty taker Bryan Mbeumo (£8.3m). Mbeumo has a fantastic opportunity to end the season with a bang up against a leaky Wolves defence.
In brilliant form recently, securing at least one return in his previous five matches, Jarrod Bowen (£7.8m) is another player who could be tough to exclude. He is joined by Bournemouth talisman and penalty taker Justin Kluivert (£5.9m). The Dutchman could well recapture his previous form with a meeting against the already-relegated Leicester.
An excellent option off the bench is Aston Villa’ Morgan Rogers (£5.8m). Manchester United lay ahead and Rogers has returned in each of his previous two games.
If fit then Alexander Isak (£9.5m) remains a great pick. The Newcastle penalty taker has had a scintillating season overall and faces Everton in a must win game to secure Champions League football for the next campaign. Another forward in a must-win game with his side is Ollie Watkins (£9.1m). Manchester United have been woeful domestically so Watkins could have huge potential.
Completing the frontline, Yoane Wissa (£6.9m) is in exceptional form. The Brentford man has produced four goals and two assists in just his last six matches. Wolves lay ahead up next so we could see him add to that tally.
