Rotating goalkeepers for the final two rounds could be beneficial. With that in mind, starting this week is Everton’ Jordan Pickford (£5.1m), who faces the worst frontline in the league next, Southampton. FPL managers can then bring in Bournemouth’ Kepa Arrizabalaga (£4.6m) in Gameweek 38. He faces the already-relegated Leicester.

Daniel Munoz’ (£5.1m) recent assist is another example of how attacking he has been this season. Crystal Palace also face Wolves next up, so he could have multiple routes to points. Similar could be said for Manchester City’ Josko Gvardiol (£6.5m) who as well as offering attacking threat, goes into his next matches off the back of helping his side secure four clean sheets in the previous six games.

Doubling up on the Everton backline for the match against Southampton could be hugely rewarding, so we can do that with full-back Vitalii Mykolenko (£4.4m). On the bench we also have two great options to bring in, Aston Villa centre-back Ezri Konsa (£4.4m) who faces 16th and 17th next, and Neco Williams (£4.5m) who plays for one of the best defences in the division.

With two great fixtures to attack, excluding Brentford penalty taker Bryan Mbeumo (£8.3m) could be foolish. Mbeumo has produced a huge five returns in just his last four matches alone. Another player with two great fixtures ahead and playing for one of the best attacks in the league is Kevin De Bruyne (£9.6m). The Belgian has two matches to play of his Manchester City league career, so motivation and emotions will be high.

Against one of the worst current form sides in the league, Chelsea’ Cole Palmer (£10.5m) has massive potential in the round ahead. His side are also chasing Champions League qualification spots, so the club and their players have everything to play for. Aston Villa’ Morgan Rogers (£5.7m) could be another fantastic inclusion considering his side face 16th and 17th in the next two.

Completing the backline and arguably out of form, is Arsenal penalty taker Bukayo Saka (£10.3m). FPL managers may not want to start him against Newcastle, but they play Southampton on the final day.

Coming away from the forward template could be wise for the remainder of the season. Fixtures against Tottenham and Manchester United are too good to ignore. Both sides have displayed relegation form recently and Aston Villa’ Ollie Watkins (£8.9m) could take advantage of that.

Two more great penalty taking options are Ipswich’ Liam Delap (£5.6m) and Nottingham Forest’ Chris Wood (£7.1m). The former is cheap and faces a woeful Leicester next, whilst the latter is chasing Champions League qualification. Both strikers could easily end the season on a high.
