FPL Gameweek 32 Best Wildcard Team

Not sure how your Wildcard should look? Don’t fear, we have put together the FPL Gameweek 32 Best Wildcard Team, which should boost you up the rankings.

To do this, we use Fantasy Football Scout’s Members Area and the fantastic Plan FPL tool.

One of several chips provided by the game, the Wildcard allows managers to make an unlimited number of free transfers to their squad. The moves made in this one Gameweek can both fix problems and plan for the future. It’s an extremely useful weapon.

Fixtures

Below is Fantasy Football Scout’s ranking of fixture difficulty over the next six Gameweeks. Teams at the top have the easiest set, while teams at the bottom have the toughest ones.

Who has the best fixtures?

Newcastle are one of two sides still to have eight remaining fixtures, rather than seven. The other, Crystal Palace, rank nearer the middle, quantity rather than quality.

Nottingham Forest were without Chris Wood (£7.0m) and Ola Aina (£5.3m) for their weekend loss at Aston Villa but FPL managers will be curious about their comebacks, with such a promising schedule. Reigning champions Manchester City continue to underwhelm but their run is appealing.

Who has the worst fixtures?

Meanwhile, if Chelsea are to secure Champions League qualification, they’ll have to do it the hard way. Gameweek 33 opponents Fulham also end with a tough run, while Tottenham are seemingly prioritising Europa League success.

Best Gameweek 32 Wildcard

Using the PlanFPL website, here is the best Wildcard team for Gameweek 32 and beyond:

Defence

Activating a Wildcard now means those still with a Bench Boost to use only really have Gameweek 33 for it. Also, this squad doesn’t take Free Hits into account.

It has nine players set to participate in Blank Gameweek 34, with the combination of David Raya (£5.5m) and Bart Verbruggen (£4.5m) adequately covering the goalkeeping slot.

Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk (£6.5m) has West Ham, Leicester and Spurs matches to help recover from Sunday’s 3-2 loss at Fulham. Before that, they’d collected three clean sheets from four.

Full-backs Tino Livramento (£4.6m) and Daniel Munoz (£5.2m) successfully prepared for Double Gameweek 32 by bringing in (at least) an attacking return, as the latter joins Josko Gvardiol (£6.1m) in having Double Gameweek 33. These three collected 28 points during the latest round of matches.

Neco Williams (£4.4m) is unlucky to be initially benched but plays in Blank Gameweek 34, before ending with nice-looking fixtures.

Midfield

Consecutive Mohamed Salah (£13.8m) blanks aren’t yet a concern, though he won’t be captain for a while. Cole Palmer‘s (£10.7m) form is far worse, but he still gets the nod ahead of Bukayo Saka (£10.4m) because he has a better Gameweek 32 encounter and, unlike Arsenal, features in Gameweek 34.

Jarrod Bowen (£7.6m) is maintaining a steady rate of attacking returns despite West Ham being more defensively-minded under Graham Potter. He is at home to last-placed Southampton in Gameweek 33, before visiting Brighton in the blank – he bagged 12 points in last season’s trip there.

Onto the cheap midfielders, Morgan Rogers (£5.6m) keeps punishing sellers and benchers. He’s racked up two goals and two assists in his latest four outings, about to face the Saints before Double Gameweek 33. Yet he was outdone by Jacob Murphy (£5.1m) at the weekend. In 17 successive league starts, the Newcastle midfielder has produced 14 attacking returns.

Just missing out on this squad is Brighton’s Kaoru Mitoma (£6.5m).

Forwards

The frontline almost picks itself right now, even if Omar Marmoush (£7.6m) and Jean-Philippe Mateta (£7.7m) don’t feature in Blank Gameweek 34. Before then, they both have at least one double, whereas Alexander Isak (£9.5m) is the upcoming round’s standout captaincy option. Triple Captainers, take note. The Swede hosts Ipswich in Blank Gameweek 34, too.

Future transfers could bring in Yoane Wissa (£6.6m), Matheus Cunha (£6.8m) or a when-fit Wood.
