Wildcard Team
Arsenal’ upcoming double Gameweek and elite defensive data make them a prime target for defensive assets. One of several several we could opt for is David Raya (£5.5m). Backing Raya up, and a good option for those who want to bench boost is Brighton’ Bart Verbruggen (£4.5m) who has good fixtures.
In defence, Manchester City’ Josko Gvardiol (£6m) leads his position for expected goals, and has doubles ahead. Similar can be said for the super attacking Daniel Munoz (£5.1m) of Crystal Palace.
Gabriel’ injury makes Jakub Kiwior (£4.8m) a good pick to double up in defence. Cheap centre-backs like Newcastle’ Dan Burn (£4.4m) and Aston Villa’ Ezri Konsa (£4.4m) make the cut because of their upcoming doubles and reliable minutes.

Coming into the midfield, Liverpool’ Mohamed Salah (£13.8m) remains an essential. Returning from injury and with a double ahead, Arsenal’ talisman and penalty taker Bukayo Saka (£10.3m) could also be a brilliant option.
With two double Gameweeks on the horizon, Crystal Palace’ Ismaila Sarr (£5.7m) is a great cheap option. Talking of budget gems with doubles, Aston Villa’ Morgan Rogers (£5.5m) remains his sides standout pick for minutes and output. Going even cheaper, Newcastle’ Jacob Murphy (£5m) is another wise pick helping spread budget elsewhere.
Five fixtures in the next three Gameweeks could see in-form striker Jean-Philippe Mateta (£7.6m) become an essential. Another essential is Newcastle’ Alexander Isak (£9.5m), who has been one of the best attackers in the league this campaign.
Completing the forward line is Omar Marmoush (£7.5m). The Egyptian could fill a role that the injured Erling Haaland has left behind due to injury. Manchester City appear to have both form and fixtures towards the end of the season.
