FPL Gameweek 3: Top 10 Predicted Points Scorers

FPL Gameweek 3: Top 10 Predicted Points Scorers gives Fantasy Premier League managers an early look at the players expected to deliver the biggest hauls in the second round.
Using the latest data and projections, this list highlights who the algorithms believe will lead the way in points. This will help you spot potential captaincy options and strong early-season picks.
6-10th
- 10th – Morgan Rogers – 4.6 points – After two disappointing opening rounds, Morgan Rogers owners are becoming frustrated. A home match against a tough Crystal Palace side appears to be a good opportunity for him to return
- 9th – Chris Wood – 4.9 points – Nottingham Forest main man Chris Wood looks set for another good week. Wood hit two goals in the first round, and faces a ropey West Ham defence in Gameweek 3.
- 8th – Benjamin Sesko – 5.2 points – Although coming up short in both Gameweek 1 and 2, the new Manchester United signing is being predicted for success against a poor Burnley defence this week.
- 7th – Ollie Watkins – 5.4 points – Watkins owners are becoming agitated with Watkins. Aston Villa have failed to score a single goal this season. But, that is expected to changed this week, even with a home match against Crystal Palace.
- 6th – Matheus Cunha – 5.6 points – It’s no surpirse to see Manchester United assets feature heavily this week. Burnley may have kept a clean sheet in the previous round, but they also shipped four goals to Spurs in Gameweek 1.

5th – Bryan Mbeumo – 5.6 points

A third Manchester United attacker breaks into the top 10 this week. Burnley is a fantastic opportunity for them this week based on what we have seen so far. One of their standouts is new signing and former Brentford man Bryan Mbeumo (£8m) who appears to be taking corners for his new side.
4th – Bruno Fernandes – 5.9 points

Predicted to outscore his attacking teammates in Gameweek 3 is Bruno Fernandes (£9m). Fernandes frustrated in the previous round after missing a penalty against Fulham. Gameweek 3 should see him repay the faith held by FPL managers.
3rd – Erling Haaland – 5.9 points

Manchester City look set to bounce back after the 2-0 loss to Spurs in the previous round. Brighton have been ropey defensively – conceding two goals to a supposedly blunt Everton side. One player who could punish their backline is of course striker Erling Haaland (£14.1m).
2nd – Mohamed Salah – 6.0 points

Second from top is Mohamed Salah (£14.5m). The Liverpool midfielder faces one of the toughest matches on paper this week – against fellow title challengers Arsenal. Even when taking that into account the Egyptian is predicted to return.
1st – Cole Palmer – 6.8 points

Whilst Cole Palmer (£10.5m) does top every other player for predicted points this week, he remains a major doubt for the game against Fulham. Palmer failed to play any minutes in Gameweek 2 due to an injury, so monitoring news on his fitness will be key.
