Goalkeepers
Robert Sanchez remains a great option between the sticks, with good fixtures ahead. Leeds also rank high on the fixture ticker, so using Martin Dubravka as a back-up could become hugely beneficial.
Defence
Tottenham’ great fixtures and excellent defensive start to the season could warrant a double up. Pedro Porro covers the £5.5m price point and has attacking threat, whilst Mickey van de Ven is a cheaper route into the defence.
The £5.5m Nottingham Forest defenders are yet to prove their worth, so downgrading to Neco Williams at £5m seems viable. Aston Villa’ schedule is still brilliant so the addition of Ezri Konsa could be handy.
Our £4m of choice is Sunderland’ Reinildo due to their good fixtures.
Midfield
Losing the Liverpool double attack could be a solid choice short-term, so the ever-reliable Mohamed Salah joins the team.
Whilst Aston Villa are yet to convince, they play two promoted sides in the run ahead. Fixtures bring form so staying faithful to Morgan Rogers could pay off.
Tottenham’ great fixtures and form makes investing in their attack a shoo-in. Arguably one of their standouts is Ghanian Mohammed Kudus.
The higher priced midfielders have lost their appeal as of late, mainly due to injuries and fixtures. So, going down to someone like Antoine Semenyo of Bournemouth could be hugely rewarding based on his form and fixtures.
Sticking with Tijani Reijnders could be ideal. Reijnders is a cheap route into a very good Manchester City attack.
Forwards
The forwards have become a lot more appealing as of late. This is partly due to the downfall of some popular and expensive midfielders.
Joao Pedro appears to be a staple in the efficient Chelsea attack. He could well be the most effective and safest Chelsea attacker moving forward in regards to output and gametime.
Whilst the Arsenal fixture isn’t ideal, Nottingham Forest face some poor defences ahead. Seemingly as inevitable as he was last season is Chris Wood.
Completing the attack, and arguably controversial due to his recent form, is Ollie Watkins. As mentioned earlier, Aston Villa’ schedule is still too good to ignore, so don’t be surprised if their assets start firing.
