FPL Gameweek 29 Tips Last Minute

FPL Gameweek 29 Tips

With another Double Gameweek upon us, the community return with their FPL Gameweek 29 tips.

What chips to use and when? Who to captain? It’s all covered in these best bits from Twitter.

Blanks

Blank and Double Gameweek guru, Ben Crellin, confirms the upcoming schedule for Blank Gameweek 31. While it may be a few weeks away, the planning has to start now when it comes to preparing for a week with just four of ten fixtures.

Chips

Using the chips effectively for the season run-in will be crucial, especially where Blank Gameweek 31 is concerned. Neale from the Fantasy Football Scout team has provided a comprehensive look at how to prepare for this looming schedule.

DCL

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is one of the form players in the Premier League right now and Rebant has provided some informative statistics for the FPL Gameweek 29 tips. He’s dominating many of the key goalscoring metrics and shouldn’t be overlooked.

Vardy

Jamie Vardy was a huge loss in fantasy terms last weekend and many will be hoping to see his return in anticipation of a home clash against Aston Villa. Ben Dinnery provides the important injury update, with the prognosis seemingly positive.

Mahrez

Given Manchester City’s two fixtures this gameweek, investing in their attackers will be a popular move, with Riyad Mahrez one of the names in the frame. While he has a high points ceiling, there are obvious concerns of rotation, especially given the minutes he played in the reverse games.

Captains

FPL Goat considers a trio of hopefuls vying for out captains armband this weekend. While it’s easy to be clouded by the Double Gameweek, there’s a very strong case being put forward for putting the captaincy on Mo Salah. His record against Bournemouth is phenomenal.

Poll

Fantasy Football Pundits have captured a broad view for the Gameweek 29 armband, with over 5,000 votes already on their poll. Given concerns over Kevin De Bruyne’s fitness, it’s Aubameyang who leads the way in the FPL Gameweek 29 tips.

Odds

FPL Salah returns with the all important bookies odds this week and it’s Aubameyang who looks well set to dominate against West Ham. Sergio Aguero has plenty of potential in both of his games, but could Pep rotation scupper his chances?

Differentials

In an excellent Twitter thread, All About FPL looks at some differentials to consider in the FPL Gameweek 29 tips. Top of the list is Ismaila Sarr, who was mightily impressive against Liverpool last weekend.

History

Lionel considers the respective records of our key Double Gameweek assets. Aubameyang has an excellent record against West Ham, with Nicolas Pepe also impressing in the reverse fixture. Can we expect anything from them against Manchester City though?

Doherty

Matt Doherty put in a fantastic performance last weekend, and Bakar has crunched the numbers on his performances this season. He certainly has lots of potential, and if he can remain first-choice in this Wolves line-up, could be an excellent option for the season run-in.

Hundred

Finally, it was a landmark episode of the Who Got The Assist? podcast this week. Among the usual features, a discussion on form and fixtures was particularly interesting. Here’s to the next hundred team.
