FPL Gameweek 20 Best Differentials
In this article we take a look at the FPL Gameweek 20 best differentials. At the same time @FBLThinker, @FPL_ElStatto, @FplRabbi, @FplShakenbake and @FPLReaction battle it to see who can earn the title ‘Differential King’.
Differentials are players who have low ownership. This means that if those players are successful then they could significantly boost both your rank and mini-league position. This is exactly why differentials are such an important part of the game.
Note: All ownership stats are likely to change.
@FPL_ElStatto
“Cody Gakpo – 6.6% ownership – Liverpool – £7.3m – I just feel with the form of Liverpool and that of Manchester United at the moment that Liverpool could inflict another defeat on them. Gakpo has good returns in home games, with three from the previous four, so I’m going to say that’ll continue in GW20”.
@FplRabbi
“Alex Iwobi – 8% ownership – Fulham – £5.9m – Fulham look like they’ve found their shooting boots as of late and hosting Ipswich could mean more to come. Iwobi who hasn’t returned since GW14 but he could well be back in the points this week”.
@FplShakenbake
“Jacob Murphy – £5.1m – Newcastle – 4.1% ownership – Spurs v Newcastle screams goals galore to me… So I’m going with Jacob Murphy. With 42 points in his last five games, Murphy has been providing his owners with both assists and goals”.
@FBLThinker
“Leon Bailey – 0.8% ownership – Aston Villa – £6.2m – Bailey has a great fixture against Leicester at home this week. Villa are in good goal scoring form and playing in the front three Bailey could easily get amongst the goals and assists”.
@FPLReaction
“Yoane Wissa – 9.2% ownership – Brentford – £6.2m – Brentford have proven they can score against most teams this season and this week they face a torrid Southampton defence. I’m expecting the Bees to bounce back after their loss to Arsenal, and Wissa leads the effective frontline”.
Gameweek 19 Scoring
- @FPL_ElStatto – Gabriel Martinelli had a very successful week. Arsenal beat Brentford 3-1, and their Brazilian scored and collected bonus to pick up nine points.
- @FplRabbi – Crystal Palace was a popular side to invest in ahead of Gameweek 19. One of those popular assets was striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, but he slumped to just two points.
- @FplShakenbake – Tottenham drew their match 2-2 against Wolves in the previous round. But, amongst the Spurs success was midfielder Dejan Kulusevski who bagged five points for his assist.
- @FBLThinker – Another popular Crystal Palace asset ahead of Gameweek 19 was Isamaila Sarr. The Eagles won their match against Southampton 2-1. But, Sarr failed to get amongst the goals. This meant he finished the round with just two points.
- @FPLReaction – Chelsea were another side set for triumph against Ipswich. However, Enzo Maresca rotated key players and lost the game 2-0. This helped Pedro Neto, who played just 13 minutes of the match, to bank just one point.
