FPL Gameweek 18 Best Differentials
In this article we take a look at the FPL Gameweek 18 best differentials. At the same time @FBLThinker, @FPL_ElStatto, @FplRabbi, @FplShakenbake and @FPLReaction battle it to see who can earn the title ‘Differential King’.
Differentials are players who have low ownership. This means that if those players are successful then they could significantly boost both your rank and mini-league position. This is exactly why differentials are such an important part of the game.
Note: All ownership stats are likely to change.
@FPL_ElStatto
“Diogo Jota – 3.1% ownership – Liverpool – £7.2m – He is back from injury and playing Leicester at home. With Liverpool’ dominance at home against a Leicester side who have conceded 22 in eight away game, I feel a comfortable Liverpool win is on the cards. Providing Jota plays then I fancy him to be involved in the points”.
@FplRabbi
“Leandro Trossard – 1.6% ownership – Arsenal – £6.8m – With Saka out and Arsenal trying to be more on the front foot, the Belgian looks good for returns”.
@FplShakenbake
“Gabriel Jesus – 1.7% ownership – Arsenal – £6.8m – The man is on fire at the moment, and plays Ipswich next. Christmas is his time of year. Don’t overlook a gift horse in the mouth”.
@FBLThinker
“Kai Havertz – 9.8% ownership – Arsenal – £7.9m – playing against Ipswich at home, Havertz looks good playing up front for an Arsenal team who scored five goals in their previous match, and are now up against a lacklustre Ipswich defence”.
@FPLReaction
“Mohammed Kudus – 2.6% ownership – West Ham – £6.2m – It’s been a rough start to the season for Kudus, but with two returns in his last three games, I think he could be finding his rhythm again. This week he faces an awful Southampton defence, so I expect that form to continue”.
Gameweek 17 Scoring
- @FPL_ElStatto – He opted for Raul Jimenez last week. The Fulham striker failed to start the match, but then came on for a short period and picked up a yellow card, meaning he finished the match with zero points.
- @FplRabbi – Jamie Vardy was his selection for Gameweek 17. Leicester were dismantled by Wolves 3-0, which meant Vardy flopped with just two points.
- @FplShakenbake – He picked Anthony Gordon who faced off against Ipswich. Newcastle won the game 4-0 but Gordon contributed to just one of them. However, for his assist, he collected six points.
- @FBLThinker – Fulham’ 0-0 draw with Southampton meant all of the Fulham attackers blanked, including Alex Iwobi who claimed just three points.
- @FPLReaction – He selected West Ham talisman Jarrod Bowen. The Hammers drew to Brighton 1-1 and Bowen picked up six points for his assist.
