FPL Gameweek 11 Best Differentials
The new round Premier League football is approaching so we take a look at the FPL Gameweek 11 best differentials. Using the Fantasy Football Scout members area we utilise the fixture ticker and underlying stats to pick out some of the best players with low ownership.
Our FPL Gameweek 11 best differentials could give you a much needed boost to start the new season. Differentials are players who have low ownership. If those players are successful then it could both rank and mini-league position.
Jørgen Strand Larsen – 2.3% Ownership
Although hugely inconsistent in terms of results Wolves have shown consistency in regards to goals scored – netting in each and every one of their matches since the opening round. This week they have a good opportunity to continue that form this week against a poor Southampton side.
The Saints have lost all but two of their matches so far this season – as well shipping three goals in half of them. Whilst many opt for teammate Matheus Cunha some could look to Jørgen Strand Larsen (£5.6m) who is the focal point up front. The Norwegian has been in fine form recently – returning in three of his previous four matches.
Son Heung-Min – 6% Ownership
Tottenham owners could be in for a treat this week. Ange Postecoglou’s men go into the round ranking top for goals, second best for total attempts on goal, the best for total shots in the box, second best for total big chances total and second for total shots on target.
Taking into account their attacking data and fixture against Ipswich this week, investing in Tottenham could be hugely rewarding. Due to injury Son Heung-Min (£9.9m) seems to have dropped under 10% ownership. In between that time Son has racked up six returns in just seven matches played, so goes into his Gameweek 11 match in very good form.
James Maddison – 6.9% Ownership
Tottenham are likely going to be one of the top teams to invest in ahead of their match against the Tractor Boys. As well as failing to win any of their matches this season Ipswich also rank as the worst side in the league for big chances conceded.
One of many Tottenham players who could do well this week is James Maddison (£7.6m). Maddison hasn’t just impressed in terms of form – bagging seven goals or assists in his first 10 matches. He has also been producing excellent underlying data. In fact, the only midfielder who has edged Maddison for non-penalty expected goal involvement this campaign so far is Cole Palmer.
Antoine Semenyo – 8.3% Ownership
Several fixtures could be worth targeting this week and the one between Brentford and Bournemouth is one of them. The former have impressed this season but they remain the worst side in the league for total shots on target conceded.
The above is very promising because Bournemouth rank inside the top four teams this season for total attempts on goal conceded. Their danger man is midfielder Antoine Semenyo (£5.6m) who will be full of confidence after helping his side edge Manchester City in the previous round. In the matches prior to his 10-point haul against the champions Semenyo also banked four returns.
Bruno Fernandes – 7.4% Ownership
Manchester United have undergone a huge change this week. The departure of former manager Erik Ten Hag was a significant one and the Reds responded with a big win against Leicester in the Cup and a well fought draw against an in-from Chelsea in the league.
Bruno Fernandes (£8.2m) and his teammates come up against Leicester this week, a side who they recently dismantled 5-2, as mentioned above. Contributing to three of their six goals was penalty taker Fernandes who appears to have found confidence since the big change.
