FPL Gameweek 10 Best Differentials

Last modified date

The new round Premier League football is approaching so we take a look at the FPL Gameweek 10 best differentials. Using the Fantasy Football Scout members area we utilise the fixture ticker and underlying stats to pick out some of the best players with low ownership.

Our FPL Gameweek 10 best differentials could give you a much needed boost to start the new season. Differentials are players who have low ownership. If those players are successful then it could both rank and mini-league position.

Leif Davis – 2.2% Ownership

Leif Davis

Ipswich continue in their search to pick up three points for the first time this season and the round ahead could be a good opportunity to achieve that. The Tractor Boys come head-to-head with fellow newly promoted side Leicester and that alone could suggest they have potential.

Whilst Ipswich have struggled this campaign, several of their players have produced very good statistics. One of those players is full-back Leif Davis (£4.5m). Davis consistently displays his assist potential, and his stats back that up. In fact, Davis sits above every other in his position for total crosses, total chances created and total big chances created. He also goes into his upcoming match having produced an assist in his previous game.

Matheus Cunha – 3.3% Ownership

Another side who are yet to win a game this season is Wolves. Gary O’Neil’s men picked up their first point since Gameweek 2 in their most recent match which ended 2-2. Wolves face much weaker opposition than Brighton this week however.

Crystal Palace have been hugely inconsistent this season and one player who could take advantage of that and their ropey backline is Matheus Cunha (£6.5m). As well racking up more crosses, chances created and big chances created than any other forward Cunha has also found the net in three of his previous five league matches.

Darwin Nunez – 2.2% Ownership

Losing just one of their matches this season, Liverpool seem to be in excellent form under new manager Arne Slot. Impressing offensively, the Reds currently lead every other side in the division for total big chances.

One player in particular can benefit from the metric mentioned above is Darwin Nunez (£7.1m). The injury to Diogo Jota is an unfortunate one for Liverpool but it also gives Nunez the opportunity to both impress and get gametime under his belt. His assist against Arsenal in Gameweek 9 is just one example of his quality.

Jean-Philippe Mateta – 3% Ownership

Mateta

As mentioned above, things at Crystal Palace haven’t been as plain sailing as they were towards the close of last season. The Eagles failed to win any of their first eight matches whilst also failing to score in four of them. But, there is hope after their Gameweek 9 victory against Spurs at home.

Wolves lay ahead, and we can’t forget how woeful they have been defensively. In fact, no side in the league have conceded more goals this season. This could be a good fixture for Jean Philippe Mateta (£7.3m). The Frenchman was excellent at the end of last campaign and throughout the summer Olympics. Although short of that same form this season the Frenchman scored in his latest outing, which could see an uptake in much needed confidence.

Yoane Wissa – 3.8% Ownership

It’s quite difficult to ignore Brentford’s recent goal scoring form. The Bees have racked up a mammoth 10 goals in their previous three matches. Next up for them is a Fulham side who have shipped seven in the same period.

Fulham are clearly a team to target currently and whilst Bryan Mbeumo remains a popular and very effective option, it could be time to consider teammate Yoane Wissa (£5.9m) as well. In the four matches prior to his injury Wissa banked an impressive four returns. His effectivity when playing is clear, and that can be emphasised by his recent 13-point haul in Gameweek 9.
